Give up soda? Sure. :)

You know exactly which one I was talking about. :P Imagine the money. It'd be like hitting a mini-lottery.
I don't know. I will cut back and make a real effort to slow down, I am just not sure I am up for throwing my body through that large a loop. Giving up all soda and all the other foods.

Did you tell the Doc about my club soda cure? I'm beginning to think s/he is some kind of a quack. ;)

Seriously, I hope you get good news and relief soon.

Short answer, horrible downward spiral of apathy. Could of bounced back, but just went straight through the trampoline, hit the ground and started digging.

Been there dude. When you cringe knowing that going to class would mean crawling to the prof and begging for mercy because you haven't been to class in two weeks and you missed a major test and a paper or two? It happens. There's always time to turn any mess around. Don't delay. For your own good, take it from someone who did ...

Clearly you need to investigate this thing called "graft."

After your investigation, let me copy your notes.

Did that in the military for spare cash to buy WoD suppliments and beer with. It gets old after a while. Also, you have to have clean screened blood. No diseases, no illegal drugs.

Just read another interview with Breck Eisner on his directing a Flash Gordon movie. I'm beginning to really NOT look forward to this movie. He's dissing both the `80's movie and the SciFi TV series. Both of which I'm fans of.

Back in 2007 I truied to give blood at a USN blood drive. But, since back in the '80s I used insulin made from cows, there was a rule that I couldn't give for fear of Mad Cow Disease. :(

I have managed to make my will save as of yet. But I know the gist of what it is, so I get a plus 5.

Bluewaffle explination:
Bluewaffle.net is a shock site that appeared in September 2008. It features a central image of a vagina showing a blue and green infection, including ulcers and sores. The website also features a number of advertisements linked to the Adult FriendFinder and Juicy Ads networks. Before appearing on bluewaffle.net, the image had circulated throughout usenet as "bluesky.jpg". Since its appearance as a shock site it has increased in popularity including fan created content on social networking website facebook as well as a song by British musician Mirrored Theory.

We just got back to Pescara from Venice yesterday. It's really an incredible place, although it was too hot. I would love to see it in a cooler time of year.

I tried the risotto alle seppie (rice cooked with octopus in its own ink, so the sauce is jet black). I had heard of it, and it's a very traditional dish, so I had to try it. It was pretty good, but I couldn't get over the way it looked. That's just not right.

Oh, I also stopped into that RPG store across the street from our apartment and had a chat with the proprietor. I almost had to laugh at how much the situation is almost exactly the same as it is in the US. They host 4e Encounters on Wednesday nights, and he said it's been a great way to get people interested in RPGs, but he finds that more experienced players tend to gravitate towards some RP-heavy Italian game (I forget its name). Because that native game is so popular, he said Pathfinder hasn't found much of a niche in Italy, although people come in for it occasionally (he was sold out of Core Rulebooks at the moment). But, as is always the case, RPGs don't drive enough business, and he makes most of his revenue off of Magic and WoW trading card games. It sounds like things are more or less the same everywhere. I bought a few dice because not buying anything would have been awkward. I took a couple of semi-blurry pictures that I'll try to make available soon (of the store facade and also some 4e rulebooks in Italian translation).

Cool.

Woot! We kicked beholder....well, they don't really have butts, but you get the idea. :)
It was absolutely freakish. We made all of our saves, and the beholder couldn't roll a to-hit for anything. So instead of a tpk we're actually rested and ready for the next big battle. Only one more session and we're through this module, and barring anything truly unforeseen the characters finally get to go back to their home plane.

Yep, there's nothing like a night of gaming to distract one from stress.
