Does being a veggie eater help or hinder the process?

Anyone else suffering under the lash of the dreaded HHHs? I mean, it is 630am here and it's gotta be 75 degrees with about 85% humidity already. I'm tired of it.

Dude, I live in Houston, welcome to five months of my year. We've been at or close to triple digits any day it wasn't raining for over a month now, and it's always humid here!

And, when it rains, I see animals going two by two wondering why none of us have build a boat yet... ;)

How exactly does having an Irish ghetto in a city an hour and a half from where I live expose me to punishment?

So, if I am to do pennance for Southie, does that mean you pay penance for the Fifth Ward?

I saw Inception Saturday afternoon with my oldest son and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it to everyone. I don't want to say anymore because the less you know going in, the more enjoyable the movie will be.

Then I followed it up with finally seeing the Book of Eli. You all were right, it also is a great movie.

I already knew that. If I thought I could have made it consistently, I would have asked in their thread in the Gamer Connection area. Wolfthulu and I have played together. I really can't justify driving that far north for a game right now, I'm just being a whiny little (my DM is in Europe for two weeks) whiner guy.

I just realized the first spoiler may actually be true. I haven't seen the film, nor know how it ends, but I know Hollywood, so it may actually be the first one. (Heck, even the second may be true...)

Yep, yep. I have to go in and rebuild Remicus. My harddrive crashed last week and none of my Hero Lab files made the frantic save flurry I tried to pull off. So glad I had the foresight to email my 13th level wizards file to myself before I lost everything...

I will neither confirm nor deny your spoilers. But you SHOULD see the movie.

And for full disclosure:
I do not have any connection to Legendary Pictures, anybody in Hollywood, or even any acting talent whatsoever. Although, I did graduate from the same University as Roger Ebert, though not at the same time.

Try the generic equivalent of Zantac. It is a different medication than Prilosec. Walmart has a very inexpensive version in their equate brand that you only need to take twice per day. The the key ingredient you are looking for is Ranitidine. It is working for me. Good luck.

You can have some of mine. I made a huge breakfast and didn't eat. I have scrambled eggs with cheese. Roast beef hash, buttermilk biscuits, and sliced banana..and of course coffee and juice. Watermelon juice to be specific. :)

Yeah, what Tordek said. I take the generic CVS brand of ranitidine, and it works really well. I didn't like Prilosec, I didn't feel like it did anything IMO.

Down side: Wife and two youngest sons left yesterday and are driving up to Minnesota for my youngest son's college orientation tomorrow at the University of St. Thomas. They just made it inside the Minnesota border. No family Kingmaker while they are away.

Upside: Great chance to spend some time with my oldest son, hence the Inception/Book of Eli movie combo. Also, it gives me time to actually post here and catch up on my RotR adventure log.

Edit: and eat uncooked tollhouse cookie dough. yum

So Ranitidine is in Zantac? I have been taking that as well. When I feel the pain starting. I was wondering if maybe I need the prescription to get rid of whatever infection is causing the ulcer since nothing seems to be working. I did take a zantac last night on top of the Prilosec and that seemed to help. I slept 8 hours anyways. Which was AWESOME!

Glad you finally got some sleep. Yes - Zantac = Ranitidine. The Walmart brand I use is like $4. My doctor suggested 150 mg.

El Paso suffers because it it the closest major city to Marfa. It was their job to keep all the east and west coast hipster d-bags from getting a toe hold in West Texas, and they failed miserably...
