Sure wish I could get my hands on a first edition printing of that tract.

Damn now I need to go dig up the the Cthulu joke tract and magic missile the darkness.

The live reading Aztrucomon and I did with multiple voices a few months back was even funnier than MST3k's version, if I do say so myself.

Mornin' FAWLTs!

Rainy Friday, temp dropping, should see snow tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm listening to Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas" on infinite loop. And looking forward to Black Friday.

What? Why are you all looking at me like that?

I'm not. Well...that Black Friday comment is a little disturbing, but I'll never fault someone for getting into the Holiday Spirit as early as possible. I've already got my iPhone loaded with hundreds of Christmas songs and will be blaring them from my docking station very soon. :D

Debbie/Elfstar achieved mind control as a teenaged 8th level (Wizard?/Cleric?). Again, I say, I've been playing D&D for what, 29 years? I still can't force my dad to spend $200 on buying me game stuff. Can I dig up Gygax and get all my money back? And don't even get me started on hours lost.

The US media did a lot to spread crazy ideas about it.

Stick a fork in me! I'm done with my work in San Diego! WOOT!!!!! Now I get to go home, see the wife, see how the bambino is coming along, eat some of my usual food, catch up on my TV shows and comics, etc....

Bummer though, that I couldn't find time to visit with Sebastian or Paris. Sorry, dudes. My schedule with big time loco.

But there is hope (or despair, take your pick) - there's always Paris' own ship that I should one day have to visit, which would bring me out again for another visit.

So, there I was, surfing the internet, minding my own business and ignoring my job for a few minutes. I StumbleUpon'd an article talking about 10 little known facts about Harry Potter. One of the facts was that each of the main character's wands were based on their Tree sign from the Celtic Zodiac. So, being I had nothing pressing to do, I went and checked a Celtic Zodiac site.

And discovered that my tree sign for March 14th is Ash. I've been playing this character for almost 15 years and this is the weirdest thing to me, that I'd name him this without any foreknowledge of the significance...

A couple days in to this new diet, holy crap where did all this energy come from?

Clockwork Gnome Publishing

Neckcramps all...

Well, I am preparing myself for a quick trip out of state today. I am heading down to Florida to visit my partner's grandparents.

The trip is only a couple of days long, but it should be fun. I have not been to Florida in nearly 10 years. I am not a "sun and sand" kind of person but I am sure I will enjoy myself.

The only real challenge will be the plane. I am not afraid of flying but I am a good bit claustrophobic. The sooner the trip is over with the better.

Where in Florida? There are some parts I don't like, but a few that are rather nice.

Vero Beach. I have never been there so it will be a new experience for me.

Alder for me. Need to use that in a name somewhere. 1st character (1981) was Galdt, so it only used 3 of those letters.. I can do better now. :)

You modern day Navy lads have it easy. My Dad was on the jeep carrier Windham Bay in WWII (CVE 92). Combustible, Vulnerable, Expendable. My Dad was a tough one. :)

I am sure I do somewhere. No, sorry not joking. I can send you a message on FB too. A few trolls had me thinking of a couple of things and I wanted to write you about it before we to much time passed. For Clockwork Gnome stuff. I just wanted to give a couple of ideas and suggestions I did not want on any open forum.

I should mention I will be gone this weekend and I am not sure if I will have email access. So don't worry if you don't hear back from me during this weekend.

I was actually able to move my flight up a day early, from Sunday to Saturday. Same flight number, time, etc. So, by 6:30 am tomorrow, I will be departing the lovely city of San Diego.

So today my chem prof told me that I should seriously reconsider my major since I am way too good at math and science to not pursue that. Kinda meshes with what I've been thinking, but it was nice to get some teacher feedback on that. :)
And yay, I got to get up at my normal time instead of 6 cause we are back to two cars. Makes Friday much less painful. :)
