Er... what happened? I thought we were just joking about male pattern moulting? That's what I get for not reading every post.

No worries at all? You mean... all my existential fears of mortality and self expectation and loss can just go out the window? This... this is so damn liberating!

I feel so free!

FREE!

If you can ever find the naughty picture of Katy Manning (3rd doctors companion) and the Dalek, she is my second favourite companion after Romana II and equal with Sarah Jane Smith.

I did a simple search for her on google and the one of her and the Dalek popped up right away. I even have safe search on, and it was the top of the list, I wasn't even looking for pics yet since I am at work. She is def NSFW.

You've got a weird definition of NSFW, CJ

Well I am pretty sure we can blame the whole situation on PMG and his 12 year old coders. And if you read this, the kids want a fun size Twix raise!

Mona-cle? No, I mistook the "Songs of Whales" album for the sounds of the White Castle men's restroom.

Silver Crusade

There's a small child running up and down the corridors of my office. I don't think she works here.

Your office has corridors? Do you see any drow or orcs? If so, there might be a gas leak...

I blame White Castles still.

Well, "hall" doesn't seem to fit for the arbitrary walkways between cubicles, so I went with "corridor".

All the same, orcs could only liven the place.

Really I would think the orcs would deaden the place, what with all the killing and all.

Ah, the classic cubicle dungeon. Your scanner printer has jammed and you have a presentation in five minutes. Make technology saving throw!

And to think the man who created the cubicle wanted a more open and inviting work space.

One more year and we move from cubicle city and my view of a wall. I didn't mind the cubicles when I was on level 21 I had a window seat and I looked out at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and could see up to the heads.... I could watch the rich bastards sailing on a weekday and imagine that it was me.

We are moving to darling harbour - a new building, it not a bad spot hopefully I will be able to see the Maritime Museum from there.

We call it Remembrance day in Australia. There is an Ode that is spoken at memorials.

A veteran will stand and say

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

The people respond

Lest we forget

Its very sad and moving

Five years is an eternity when you recycle stories, er, revisit classics in comic book universes.

Just wait until 2015's "Final Crises on Infinite Multiverses".

I thought it was supposed to be "Infinite Finite Multiple Final Crisis Armageddons on Infinite Finite Final Multiple Earth Multiverse Multiplexes." Could be wrong, though.

Thanks for sharing that. I've always valued the special relationship the US has with Australia. We've shed blood together in many conflicts and I've enjoyed working with your Navy at every opportunity I've had. It's comforting to know that we Americans have such good friends, even when we disagree.

Not to mention the fact that Sydney is freakin' awesome! ;)

OK, the next time a customer says, "I've been looking everywhere for this. It's exactly what I want, and the price is so reasonable, too! But I'm going to keep looking." Should I:
a) Rage?
b) Baleful polymorph them to a stoat?
c) Use Sleight of Hand to get their money anyway?
d) Flamestrike them?

Hmmmm. That's a tough choice. Personally I think that I'd have to go with option b. Although d is tempting. Just more likely to damage the merchandise.

b and then d

Upon reflection, C would be a good first choice in any sequence. Gear gets polymorphed, and money burns or gets blood-soaked. So yeah, C, then B, then D seems like a good answer. Of course, toss B in there and you get Sharoth's E - All of the above.

This is what armed robbery is for. No muss, no fuss, and you keep your product.

Well, only if you try to sell it.

Think of it this way. Armed robbery is like selling "anti-bullets".
