Hand cramps.

So how is everyone today?

not to bad. I sent Solnes an email today. Halo reach comes out tonight. Hey look I like to try anything with a flight style simulator and they finally bring that in this game. I just want Ban Dai to come out with a new Ace Combat for 360. If Reach ends quickly(ba dum tish) I still have secrets of mana for the SNES to finish.

let me see here: Australia is being overrun by a clan of lightning bolt wearing speed freaks, Pennsylvaina has an undead horde starting to build, Will Michigan be turning into its own sector? There is an outbreak of some kind in South Carolina. If I forgot clans please feel free to include your neck of the woods.

I'll be picking up my copy on Wednesday.

EDIT: and after reading all of the HALO hate going on let me clarify:

With three sons, multiplayer is the Halo hook for me. I never got through the campaigns on 2 or 3. Also, from the previews that my youngest has been showing me all summer, it looks like Reach is throwback to the original Halo weapons. I hope its true.

Jury Update: I was selected as a juror. Trial should last through Wednesday. Can't say anything more.

OTOH, I do know where Taig is. He's having some away "spa" time. I don't think I'm supposed to say where.

I'm in Charlotte during the week, then I'm in Kernersville during the weekend. If you were to, say, detonate a nuclear device 30 miles north of Charlotte, you'd ruin my day, no matter where I was.

I've never been called up for jury duty. I got a letter twice while I was in the military, which makes me exempt, but in my 12 years as a civilian I've never had the opportunity. My wife has been tagged 3 times in the same duration, but she hasn't served on a jury yet.

God, I hate Halo. Not as much as I hate Joss Whedon, but I still hate it.
I like HALO, The original game. After that, it went down the tubes. 10 hours story for 50-60 bucks? No thank you. Gimme Fallout or Final Fantasy where I play 100+ hours for the same price.
I don't know. FFXIII was pretty and it lasted for 80+ hours, but you were on a railroad the entire time. I mean, at least give me a dungeon to explore, not a tunnel!
God I hate all Final Fantasy games after VI. Not as much as I hate Joss Whedon, but I still hate it.

GET OFF YOUR LAWN!!!!!

(Except for Joss Whedon. Hold on, while you get your "Buffy Firefly Dollhouse Avenger".)

Ooo...glad you warned me. I'll test my device elsewhere.

c) get hurricaned

Well, like I said, multiplayer is it's focus. I don't hate the series. It just doesn't have enough meat that is a flavor I like.

Book 6 of Rise of the Runelords arrived today - huzzah! I was debating about which AP to start collecting next - but the recent going going gone blog pretty much answered that. Curse of the Crimson Throne - you're up next.

I've never really had a hand cramp, but I have had a couple of foot cramps. More times than I would like, I've had a Charlie Horse in my calf while I was sleeping.

Nope, I can still post, so it must have been somewhere else.

A small rant:

After a week of searching, I've finally figured out the precise number of gaming stores in Syracuse, New York: 1. And while the people there are nice, it's still no fun having to deal with this b@~&@%%% (scroll down to read my review).

Are there any people here that live in or near western New York State?

I'm in Rochester. I know of at least 4 game stores here, so I'm surprised that there would only be 1 in Syracuse.

Apparently, there used to be several more, but they all closed within the last few years. The only store in town devoted to gaming right now is Play the Game, at the Carousel Mall. There also seems to be a comic shop in Liverpool that also deals in a limited amount of D&D material, but I've heard it's on its last legs.

Liberty's Edge

I am desperately behind on this thread.

This weekend was packed full of gaming. 3.5 Tomb of Horrors on Saturday and my regular Greyhawk game on Sunday. So I didn't have much time to keep up.

Not to mention, this is the last week for D&D Encounters. Now I can finish this season and kiss that silly program goodbye. I am so done with Wizards right now.

Well, off to bed. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Take care all!

Zibap zibap!

Did some one say they were done with Wizards?

Happy frakkin' Tuesday. Not really in a bad mood, but the day is young yet. Today will be boss dump day, and I will be the statue beneath the pigeon.

Anyone play a post-apocalyptic tabletop game called Alpha and Omega (name?) My son's buddy was talking about some guys getting together to try it.

It's like me, but without the poodle awesomeness! :)

Scarab Sages

All right folks. Got to try and get some work done before the Employeee Appreciation/Multicultural Day festivities kick in. They used to be two separate occasions, until the higher ups decided they could get more MC participation if they combined it with the free food of EA Day.

Have you played Ace Combat 5? The pinnacle of the series, IMO.

Also, Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood morning Fawlty House!!!

Just found out the next Darklight Sisterhood game is Sunday, I have a meeting at the second job on Thursday, and I'm working at the second job on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

This is the last day of sanity I have left, and I have to spend it cleaning the house.

Hand cramps, everyone!

Good visit to the cardiologist, stopped at the video game store for Halo Reach, dropped in at the FLGS for two Paizo map tile sets, and now at work. It is shaping up to be a good day! Hope everyone has one of those as well.

Nekkid good wishes dance for TotP!
