Does anybody know how to properly scan documents to PDF format? Something similar to what you can buy in PDF format? I'm looking to clear up some shelf space and want to get rid of my Dungeon/Dragon magazines, but I want to get an electronic format that I can search. Is this a hard thing to do? I'd only need to scan some of the Dragon's, as I can buy most in PDF on the website, but only some of the Dungeon magazines...
Any ideas or suggestions?

Note: I haven't tried it but it looks like what you are asking for.
Most scanners (printer/copier/scanner combos) should be able to do this BUT be sure you get a scanner which has an OCR software module available. OCR will bring in the text as text and not an image. You will then be able to copy/paste or search. If you don't have OCR available, it will scan your pages as images and you can't search.
EDIT: OCR stands for Optical Character Reader. Sorry about acronyms.
