Ask him if he feels his being allowed to bend the rules is particularly fair for the other players, and if he in turn would be fine with NPCs bending the rules in turn.
Ah ha ha... I read this and the little evl DM inside of me said to just say no to his character and then make a villian using all the broken rules against him in the next session.
Mean, but funny. Good times, I's tells you.

So are you saying you can stab someone to death with a house cat? :)Are you kidding? A house cat is the most awesome weapon men ever conceived. No, you can't stab someone to death with a house cat. Only shred them to pieces. :D
(Great, now I have a crazy character concept of someone who throws cats in mind. Thanks. ;-( )
You're Welcome. :)

Which is now why I don't want him making up a character to which I don't own the book. He tends to bend (break?) rules to make a character function way outside how the designers intended.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I was sure the staff have said that the APG mechanical aspects were open content, AKA going into the PRD after publication.
If you want all the awesome flavor aspects that Paizo is epic at, you buy the APG. If you want all the classes and feats in a handy book in physical format (rather than requiring to bring an electronic reader of some sort or a bunch of printouts to every game), by the APG. If all your interested in is one class and a few feats or spells, printing them from the PRD would seem the preferred option.
