Thankfully, the deal with Fox fell through—that's one network that knows how to screw up a sci-fi show. Instead, Starz has picked Torchwood up for a 10-part story, probably running next year; it'll also air on BBC 1.

I think this is a good deal... Starz seems hungry, and will be giving them a bigger budget.
Everybody who made Torchwood great is still onboard: John Barrowman and Eve Myles are returning as Jack and Gwen, and Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner, and Jane Tranter are running the show.

Even if it's not, it'll be on DVD almost as fast as they make them.

Makes you wonder what they're going to pull on Starz that they wouldn't be able to get away with on broadcast TV (even post-watershed).
Given that we often have an tell don't show mentality about male-male kissing/pairings and given Jack (and maybe John Hart) it could just be 'normal' Torchwood.
