Saturday breakfast

I'm sure I'm not the only one in a game 8:00am Saturday and I don't want to be the only one eating breakfast before the events. Is anyone in up for a mini breakfast GT? Can any Bellevue locals suggest a good place to eat that morning?

I'm open to suggestions/teaming up as well.

I have open time until 10am on Saturday, but breakfast is always a winner ... as long as there is no hangover involved.

Good to know I'm not alone. When we get closer to PaizoCon, like the date of, I'll start looking into this a bit more seriously.

I believe you can eat breakfast at the hotel. It is a restaurant. We have free breakfast everyday at the hotel.

I have just one question:

"What about second breakfast?"

:-D

Can't argue with free.

Yes, the hotel breakfast is actually pretty decent. Denny's right next door is good as well (despite the denigration it gets from some :)

That's what the mushrooms in the corners are for.

Really? I don't remember free breakfast at the hotel last year. I kept heading over to Denny's or the Whole Foods place every morning.

It precedes noontime tea.

They didn't really advertise it that strongly. I thought it was for purchase when I went the first time.

It doesn't look free because it was in the restaurant, but it is. You can also sit down and pay for a cooked meal from them (bacon and eggs, etc). But the normal "continental" breakfast is free.

Cool! What did the free continental breakfast consist of, if you happen to remember?

  • And apples, oranges and bananas, IIRC. Those oranges made for good grab and go on Saturday morning last year.

Australia's the key to the whole game!

I might be down for some breakfasting before my 10 hour delve into the City of Strangers :)

All I know is that I booked my hotel room there for one week. The hotel said that all my breakfasts were included for each occupant and it would be up to 10 dollars per person. This is a perk that came with booking a week. Now, the continental breakfast is a whole other deal.

Dang. I think I'm there for 6 nights. Maybe I can get them to give me that too...

Zuxius, you are now very high on my personal list of honor. Just got off the phone with the hotel, upgraded from 5 nights to 7 nights. The guy at the front desk gave us a lower rate for the entire week, and the free breakfast. It only increased the cost of staying (after tax) by $170 bucks, and with effectively $140 breakfast credit throughout the week, it comes out to a functional increase of $30 bucks. For two extra nights. Man, you rock. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

I am glad to be of service! These hotels...where there is a will there is a way.
