Craft Ooze Query

Rules Questions

Looking at the Craft Ooze Feat from Alchemy Manual, and wondering if they count as alchemical items for the purpose of feats and abilities.

It's not specifically said, but it's a reasonable assumption, with two caveats. 3 ranks in Craft (Alchemy) is a prerequisite, as is Brew Potion, and it says "You can create living oozes as though they were magical items." There's also a Craft (Alchemy) check to successfully make them, so with all that in mind, I'd say the answer to your question is yes, so long as you're talking about effects that occur during the creation process.

The first caveat is that after the creation is done, it's no longer an item. It's a creature.

The second caveat is that it's up to GM discretion. Many would say that you can't bypass the creation instructions with something like Instant Alchemy (Instant Alchemy doesn't give instructions on what to do with items that normally take longer than 1 day to craft) or Master Alchemist (Craft Ooze says you must use up raw materials worth the construction cost, so there'd be some debate about which feat won out).
