d20 Encounter Calculator

I did a search for encounter calculator in the General RPG and Rules forums and the most recommended application for determining encounter difficulty and XP rewards is this:

d20 Encounter Calculator

Is it still valid for use in the Pathfinder game, or do I need to make any changes due to differences in the D&D 3.5/Pathfinder rules?

It works only for low levels.

Take in mind that ECL (character level) isn't used for XP calculation in Pathfinder. It isn't an issue for 1st level characters, but it differs for PCs with higher levels.
It is only usefull for calculating the combined CRs of the encounter.

That calculator won't really work with pathfinder. They've really simplified it to the point of not needing a tool to help you.

All you really need is Tables 12-1 and 12-2. Rewarding XP is as simple as dividing the total between all party members.

So what you're saying is... there's random encounter tables?

I was running down encounter adjusters and manipulators and ran across these early posts (circa 2011). Since they popped up in my search I updated them to keep the topic current, pointing one thread here and putting valid links to PF encounter CR lists. AoN just lists them and sorting the records/files isn't available on the website other than their search tool.
I recall 2 others but the urls aren't coming to mind.
