Does a target grappled and in the AOE of black tentacles count as engaged in melée for the purposes of friendly archers? If they fire into combat are they subject to the -4 penalty for shooting into melée?
if the black tentacles were the onluy thing "fighting" with the target then I would not count it as being in melee as far as firing into melee and precise shot goes... I might grant the target soft cover though.
