Morning, all. What did I miss?

I had no trouble finding parking in Charlotte this morning. Unfortunately, it was all on I-77. :S

I remember I-77 though I was south of Charlotte IIRC

Yeah, it goes down to Columbia, SC.

You've reminded me I need to send you an e-mail.

I'll have to check that out tonight.

Exactly 500 posts since I looked last. Yeah. Hopefully I'm not going to miss anything important.

Did a nice 8.5 mile hike in the Sangre de Cristo mountains with my brother on Saturday. The "Wet Mountains" really lived up to their name. (I didn't know that Colorado had a rain forest.) Got some nice pictures and hope to have them uploaded a little later today. (Right now, I have to pay people.)

Happy Monday!

I like to refer to that as 'tithing'.

What's with all the new political posts? How annoying.

Good Morning everyone!

We get out of work early on Sundays, by about 3PM. So we decided to grab a bite and then head over to the FLGS. Treppa and I picked up the entire Council of Thieves AP, not sure exactly why. We both smiled at each other, and in near tandem said, "I can't wait to run it. Wait, you want to run it?"

Actually I was feeling quite sluggish a couple of hours ago so I had another cup (putting me at 3 in the last 24 hours). I'm staying awake at an attempt to get back on some semblance of a normal sleeping schedule. Besides, the staying up at night finally caught up to me last night as I was starting to feel depressed (the dark can do that to you).

How often are you out of the house on a weekly basis?

At least once. And anyway, it isn't self imposed. I just don't have enough money to afford to go out more than twice a month and keep my dvd and rpg book habit. It's frickin' expensive to do dinner and a movie, not counting of which, if I wanted to do that on my own is the cost of cab fare.

Go for a walk. It is what I do. I have lost 55 lbs. doing it.

I lost a few pounds myself walking to work, but nothing in that category. NICE, CJ.

We have a stationary bike and a treadmill. I've been using both of them on a more frequent basis recently.

Now that I can't just walk a few hundred feet to my car if I want to go to lunch, I have a feeling I'm going to be losing weight too.

Exactly! Go for a walk. Walk some dogs. Get on some roller blade / skates. Ride a bike. Skip some rope. Moonwalk around the block. Just get out of the house!!! You need to get some of your friends to take you out somewhere inexpensive that you don't have to rely on mom to do for you.

This is Dr. Urizen's prescription.

Yeah. I live in the Valley of the Sun, but it ought to be called the Valley of the Smog.

Besides, you'll never get to meet the future Mrs. TAD by staying indoors on your stationary bike and leaving the house once a week. Got to pop the cherry sometime this century. :p

Feeling your skin roasting off your body walking outside is not worth it IMO

Scottsdale. If I remember correctly, you live in Queen Creek. It's a long drive. I had a friend that used to live in Queen Creek.

Thats why you walk as the sun is rising.

Even Tucson is a bit of a drive. I went there with my dad on his business trips when he was still alive.
