It turns out the site is super fast when we have it all to ourselves. And when you accidentally delete 36,197 threads.

Oooh. Sleek.

How many were monk or paladin threads?

Liberty's Edge

The new post feature in my campaign tab is broken. It shows correctly that I there's a new post, but when I go read the thread and re-load the campaign tab page it still shows as having a new post when there's not.

Guys, really, you gotta stop using the server to dry off your socks! I know the temptation is strong, but some of us need to do important stuff here, like... debate whether you put cheese before the ham, or ham before the cheese.

Protip: It's always cheese before the ham.

Poppycock! Ham before the cheese! I'll not stand for such balderdash and misinformation on a public messageboard! HAVE AT THE RAPSCALLION! Watch as I use a variety of fallacies to prove your wrongness, and win the smartest person on the internet ever award. With a suitably large cash prize award, also.

Ridiculous. Everyone knows that the cheese stands alone.

It is because of contumacious sorts like you that the forums crash! Ham before the cheese! In this day and age! Preposterous! Barbaric!

Next thing you'll tell me that you put mashed potatoes to the RIGHT of the meat, rather than to the left!

Have a slightly less than good day, sir!

Pool time! What's the cause of this outage?

a) Backhoe
b) Evil hackers
c) NSA
d) "I'm pretty sure that cable doesn't do anything."
e) "Hold my beer and watch this!"
f) Gremlins
g) Kobolds

Dark Archive Software Developer

Works fine for me. Site's up and everything's good. Not sure what everyone else's problem is.

(I tried to Google a better cat emoticon, but for some reason...)

Counter of Magic Beans

I vote D. I know that's taken down more than one of my devices that have plugged into a wall.

Hopefully we're back soon. This getting up and talking to people thing is pretty lame. And it's a little creepy walking around the office with no one's music playing.

Well, I'm hoping it's not G. It takes *forever* to clean out the traps once those buggers get dug in. I mean, we don't have an infinite supply of interns to send down there.

Coming back from an outage to find this thread is like being that "fly on the wall" in the Paizo office.

Second, I have the sudden thought of a robotic voice announcing:

"And believe me I'm still alive!
I feel Fantastic and I'm still alive!
While your dying, I'll still be alive!"

Cheers!

Did you know we now offer a special printed offline version of the PRD for times like this? It's so large that it takes up 12 volumes and counting, but we've enhanced it with all kinds of cool art and stuff.

That is good to know. Thanks!

Of course, I have one of those. The difference is the PRD doesn't take up so much space on my lap/desk. It also takes up a lot less space than the half dozen or so pdfs I had open while the site was down.

The D20PFSRD has the same information on their site, friend.

I know, but I prefer the PRD layout, especially when I'm not planning on using other 3rd party open content in my writing. Less...clunky.

Really? I find the PFSRD much easier to work with. I never use the PRD just because I don't care for its layout.

The easy access to 3rd party stuff is admittedly a nice bonus for me though.

Might be I'm just used to it because I use it regularly. Plus, I like that I don't have to scroll down the page to see everything. I'm rarely using anything from another 3PP aside from Dreamscarred Press.

At least this time we got pizza. Also, I'm still going to blame a backhoe. Even though it's really us.
