Eidolon clarification

Advanced Player's Guide Playtest: Final Playtest

I can't help but notice that the Eidolons spell-like ability still has no caster lvl, is this an oversight or am I missing something? (the caster lvl would be relevant when you combine it with arcane strike)

Another thing that does not sit right with me is that the Eidolon pays no material cost, because it cast spells as spell-like abilities. This means that it can cast wish for free at higher lvls. Is this really what was intended?

They really should add something in there to the effect of "spells with a costly material component or XP requirement cannot be selected for this evolution." As to the caster level you got me there...i would imagine it would be the eidolon's level or half the eidolon's level but /shrug

In the previous playtest i think they said the caster level for the spell is the summoner's level.

Agreed about the costly component bit.. either they shouldn't be able to select them, or the summoner should have to still supply them.

I'm pretty sure this was discussed before and the eidolon's caster level was equal to it's HD and it could only use spell-like abilities with a material cost of less than 1gp( like eschew materials ).
