Given the Cacaphonous Monkey, what's next? What can we come up with?
As mentioned in the Clark, Help My Gaming Ego, er ah, Clark, Please Give Me Feedback on My Item thread, I propose the Slinky Blink Dog!
It either looks like a sexy wolf girl statuette that lets you blink in and out and gives you a tail, or it looks like Slink from Toy Story (who is in fact a version of an older toy) and it does something else!
Any other ideas? :D
(Might be good to start a whole separate humor in gaming thread but probably doesn't go in Superstar. General?)
An Item that allows you to swap places with an enemy for one round, while you both appear to be the other one.
Or slightly different:
Dominate one enemy for one turn, in which he dominates you.
And to one up it:
An item that does either one or the other, but you don't know which when you activate it.
lean back and watch Chaos ensue.

I'm not sure how happy I should be that my monkey was the inspiration for this, but what the heck. Any press is good press, right?

A slink blink dog is a hand-sized representation of a long, low-slung hound carved from wood. When the front and back of the dog are pulled upon, they separate and a long, tensile spring connecting the two halves is revealed. As a free action, the owner of the dog may fling the front half up to twenty feet in any direction in which he has line of sight. The head of the hound will unerringly travel to the designated spot, regardless of whether the intervening squares are occupied. As the front half reaches the target square, the owner will instantaneously disappear from his original position and reappear, now holding the front half in his hands. It can be used in this fashion three times per day.
In addition, if the slink blink dog is set down at the head of a flight of stairs and given a slight nudge, it will' walk' down them on its own at a speed of 10' with a rolling motion of the central spring coil. There is no limit to how many times per day this property may be used.

It's funny you should mention the item that allows you swap places with someone while you appear to be the other....BECAUSE THERE IS ONE! In the War of the Burning Sky Campaign (book 9, I believe), there is a modified ring of evasion that does just that: whenever you successfully evade a spell/effect, you switch places with someone and appear to be that person (if I remember correctly, it's with the person that cast the spell/effect). Indeed, chaos often ensued.
