The troll seems to have max ranks in 2 skills despite having a -2 modifier from its 6 intelligence. Are the skills wrong, or is there some special rule at work that I am not aware of?
As far as I can tell, it should only have max ranks in 1 skill.

Okay, it has Intimidate and Perception as class skills, be it from humanoid or giant types. +3 in each. Intimidating Prowess adds Str to Intimidate. +8 Int +3 Perception. -1 Wis makes +2 Perception. Six skill points gets us to +8 in both. I'm not sure where the extra plus one in Intimidate is.
Edit: Whoops, forgot Skill Focus (Perception). Another +3 to Perception. So technically the troll is shorted 2 points. Wierd.

Troll actually seems shorted one rank. I wonder how I got to be so off in my first post.
That would equal +7 (but +3 ranks would make it +8 total, and that would mean the troll is correct).Perception
