Since extracts work like potions do they require a move action to ready and then a standard action to drink? Or is the readying part of the standard action? (this goes for potions as well). I have always thought that it required a move action to draw a potion but I can't find any such rules in the Pathfinder srd except for the rules about manipulating objects and drawing weapons.
Edit: Found a note about retrieving a stored object in the actions in combat table listed under move action which would imply that retrieving a potion bottle is a move action. If this is the case and extracts follow the same rules it would appear that alchemist's require both a move action (to retrieve the extract) and a standard action to drink it. This makes this class ability really weak in comparison to other casters Imo.

depends on where you keep it but if it is in your belt and you have nothing to help you draw it faster then yes.
