Sverrir is up next, but just to explain the situation (don't metagame)

The skeleton's instructions are to fire on anyone coming through the door. (readied actions)

If the can't see you the won't come after you. They were holding x-bows and had extra loaded ones beside them. So on their last turn they dropped the empty x-bows (free), picked up the loaded ones (move) and readied to shoot the next person they see.

So if Marcus stands up, he will be shot. They will incur AOOs (for being in melee), so you get an extra hit in.

Indeed sir. The barricade is essentially a table on it's side, so their's like a half foot of wood there.

So it could be combat magic, which is of couse the best kind of magic.

Other than Evard's Black Tentacles, that is. That spell is pretty great.

Please remember that Markus has reach (covers a large threatened area) and gets 4 AoO. It's an integral part of his build and keeping his peeps safe as the tank.

Lucid can already scribe scrolls, of course. At 5th he will pick up a Wizard feat, and likely that will be a crafting feat (Wondrous?)

With GMF saying we're so tough, and there being 6 of us... Figure we can afford to be creative and flesh out the personae. Now of course crafting "just the weapons" we need could makeius even more powerful... But sometimes you gots to take risks!

Especially after that NASTY comment about no fauchards! :)

It's not nasty, it's realistic. Exotic weapons are going to be more rare than say a dagger. Nothing is stopping you from getting your fauchard enchanted.

Think Markus could commission the local Smith to create a "special" fauchard with a spring loaded haft?

So he carries it as a battle axe 1d8, 4 feet long, then trigger it to extend/lock as a swift action. Collapse as a move action, w/AoO?

Could be a little heavier... More metal.

All: Two trips I need to mention.

1) Taking kids to a convention this weekend so will not be posting a lot after about 7:00 tonight. Playing 6 slots of PFS. :) Will be back late Sunday.

And 2) I leave on the 13th of March for a two week trip celebrating a significant wedding anniversary (I am an old married guy :) ). Going to travel in Turkey. @GM Fanguar & Lucid - Do you get to redirect subsequent Magic Missiles if the target is dropped (with missiles to spare)? I know you're allowed to split them... so it seems a waste.

Yes, it's that tight that I'm splitting hairs... or missiles in this case!

And its my last missile. But if Markus thinks it tactically more important to drop a Zombie than to cover the caster Lucid would fire both into it. He did not know it was at 2 HP and you really have to target them together.

SRD (regards MM) - Targets up to five creatures, no two of which can be more than 15 ft. apart.

Not dictating what Lucid does... just curious really. I'd created a Magus with a Wand of MM. Was wondering if he could piss off multiple targets as he melee's!


as per SRD

"If you shoot multiple missiles, you can have them strike a single creature or several creatures. A single missile can strike only one creature. You must designate targets before you check for spell resistance or roll damage."

So you have to designate targets before the missiles hit.

You can move there. I would rule it like hard cover. I would also rule it as difficult terain.

I think, forgive me if I'm wrong... That Pavo saved Markus' arse once more! Damage is either missing Strength (13, +1) or magic (+1). The 2 more dmg, drop the bugger!

On a "yuck" note, are we house ruling that Markus threatens with the haft end (or center, like a staff) with -4 improvised, losing weapon specific bonuses like weapon focus (fauchard)?

Weapon would be 1d6 dmg, 20/x2? Fauchard being 1d10 dmg, 18-20/x2...

I'm guessing so, since this is the same round where we allowed the attack. Otherwise, Markus is too close to threaten (offer flanking). I'm gonna cry.
