If you have good friends close by, this is a perfectly valid reason to call them. I don't know if your husband is home, but this is not a great time to be alone. If this happened to one of your friends you would be happy to help them. It's perfectly OK to receive the same help!

Geez, Jeremy, had no idea it was so bad! I second BT's advice about finding somebody to stay with and be sure you keep the lawyer in the loop. Good luck with the fallout.
It is amazing how violated you feel after somebody is in your house when they shouldn't be. I had a family member who was at the house alone kick in a back door because she locked her keys (and everything else) in the house and had to leave. Even though she had good reason and was family, it was still a totally insecure feeling knowing somebody else got in so easily. Hope you can relax - maybe grab some sleep during the day.
