Smarter and / or Simpler PDFs please...

For the sake of the ol' printer, could you please, please make playtest stuff like this with the option to print *just the text*?

While I think all the background art is neat and all, and appreciate it for the eye candy that it is, I just don't need to WASTE ink on something that's a playtest. Something that isn't even going to be valid the moment Paizo starts to change things due to playtest returns (which is about a minute after the playtest file goes online ;) ).

PDFs can have layers, please use them to this end!

Yeah i agree, while the PDF's look nice. I would love to have a black and white, no background version posted for printing as well.

You can simply select and copy the whole text in a Word (or whatever) file.

I agree. If you copy and paste from a pdf to another medium the formatting gets lost sometimes, and then you have to spend time lining up paragraphs, and maybe even charts.

Another vote for this, using the layers option in PDFs perhaps, both for the sake of the printer and for my poor eyesight.

It's not like you have to try and make the document noisy enough to foil photocopiers and OCR...
