Help needed - seems I screwed up my first event reporting

As the title says - it looks like my first reporting went badly.

I tried to report 3 tables for event 1149 - Dragonmeet.

I started with the first event in which I was player - but where we had another GM
I followed with my own session
And then I added a third session which we added on the fly

I thought I knew what I was doing as it looks simple enough. There were a few hickups along the way:

a) For one of the sessions I was given the character name and the character number - with a note that it is likely that the number -1 was wrong. As I knew the character name I checked starting with -1, -2 and got a crash on -3. It turned out later that actually the number was wrongly transmitted as a 0 turned to a 6 - and then I was able to find the correct charater.

b) I reported in total 6 reserved pathfinder card numbers which I had handed out. 1 in game 1 and another 5 in game 2. There is a chance that game 3 also had one reserved number as well. I clicked on the fraction button - this caused the program to report some missing fields. As it turned out - I had to add A for Andoran etc. instead of hitting the button. So once this was fine it accepted my reporting

Some things I'm not sure I did right:

For the last session I hit done for now as I wanted to go out and not do another session.

I didn't wanted to finalize the whole event as I'm missing one Number - I already mailed the player and hope to have it soon. Therefore for the two other sessions I hit the save and report another session

I reported all GM's as the last player.

So how does it look now?

If I look at the event under session I only find a single session. Do I miss a forward/backward button?

I played in session 1 and GMed session 2. My character Theodum got 1 AP each. If I look at the character I have two sessions reported. Both ! are the session I was the GM. In one I'm listed as Theodum (the player who should get the AP for GM reward) the other lists me also for the same game !! with the number details of one of the other new players.

Even if I screwed up - the program should flag it as illegal as it looks I got 1AP for playing scenario 35 and 1 for eating it.

My wife played in session 1 and session 3. Her Character name was reported correctly from session 1. It therefore must have stored my data from session 1 as I only registered her character afterwards (yes - she leaves the online stuff to me). But she is listed to have played in my game (session 2) with the name of one of the cards handed out and the last session is missing completely.

It seemed so simple to report - where did I go that horribly wrong? I do understand that I might not have hit the right button for session 3 and that this session is therefore missing. But it seems data from session 1 and 2 is intermingled.

I might have just figured out where it started to go wrong.

For all reporting I filled in 1149 - the event number - in the top session number.

I will try tonight to delete session 1149 or at least the contents and start from scratch.

If someone from Paizo reads this who has direct access to the database - just delete all data with event code 1149 AND session code 1149.

Were you the Pathfinder Society coordinator for the show? In theory, whomever ran the entire Society at the show is responsible for reporting. Did your coordinator instead ask the GMs to report the events?

I was coordinator, GM and player all together. So I should be responsible for reporting and got all the information I need from the other GMs.

So all blame of incompetence lies with me.

Give me an hour and I will try to correct my mistakes. Just need to get the kids fed and to bed first.

Seems all okay now. Seems I did chose the worst possible time to do the updates - the site was sooooooo sluggish - but this time around it seems all is fine.

May I suggest to the programmer an error check. If event number == session number throw an error/warning - or at least f event number >1000. I seem to be not the only one who did this wrong. My first two entries are reported as session 974 - later corrected to session 1 and 2. I won't name the well known UK GM who did this.

It also seems these entries don't disappear after you delete each individual entry. well - at least the AP are gone. So all in all it's okay - but it looks untidy.

Another programming issue. It seems to me if you enter a character number which is too high (in this case 3) and no character exists, that you get a crash. This looks like an out of array issue. This happened only once - might be worthwhile testing.

Apart of this - thanks - it actually works pretty simple once you know what to do. My own fault to try to report when someone else tells me that the two new play test classes are just out.
