As a person who runs a lot of online games via MapTool, I really get a lot of use out of the art in the books. WotC used to make all of their art free on their website. Is this something that Paizo may be able to do? I love the art and would like to use it in my online Pathfinder games, but I hate smashing my books in my scanner. Just bringing it up as this would be a boon to those of us who play online.

I'm also told the art posted on the Blog is all public domain, so you can use those images without concern.
Not quite. The art is usable under the Community Use License, but it is not Public Domain. Paizo have granted a conditional use license but retain ownership of the artwork. It's similar to how Creative Commons licenses work.

also you can check the wiki at www.pathfinderwiki.com and click on gallery. We have all of the art from the blog in an easier to search format
That said, the gallery portal on the wiki could be improved and we welcome suggestions regarding how to make it more user-friendly. I have recently gone through every blog post from April 2007 through December 2008 and can verify that all images we can legally use on the wiki are there in that period. I should get through the 2009 blogs in the next week or so.

Some things I think would really make the gallery more user friendly are. More options to view the gallery, break it up by. Cover arts for paizo products, cover art for other products, maps(yeah you have this one), monster art, character art(for the last too I am only talking the clean art from the blog ala Iconics as a example), things like that.
As it stands now unless you know who the artist is, what book it is from or what the subject is. It is kinda hard to find. I mean things like man I remember this cool monster pic from the blog a few months ago. Trying to find that currently is fairly hard.
Anyways just giving feedback, as I have started to go to the site more often of late and just noticed that.

Well said. Here's the Community Use Policy.
