View a session that I have played

Hello all,

I played a PFS session on 11/17 and my GM entered into the system on 11/18. When I go to My Accounts, however, and view my character's sessions, I don't see it there. Am I looking in the right place? If so, then how long does it take until I see the session in my character's profile?

Thanks.

Click on the "Welcome, [user ID]" link at the top of the page. Then you will see your user ID in addition to any PFS characters you have created. Click on the appropriate name, which will take you to that character's profile page. You'll see some options such as Sessions right under the name. Click on Sessions and you should see the information you are looking for.

You can also find this on your "My Account" page under "My Pathfinder Society". If you click on the "My Pathfinder Society" you can view all your characters and access their Sessions to the right of the name.

The information should appear in the Sessions area of your PFS character's Profile page as soon as the reporting GM saves and exits the Session report.

If you don't see what I'm describing then it could mean a couple of things. First, you might not have registered your character properly. Many players will register for a PFS number but never follow up and enter their character in the system. If you played a PFS scenario and your GM reported it before you registered your character, there might be a complication reconciling your GM's info with what you created. If your GM entered your PFS number incorrectly, you will not see the Session. This is often caused when the player writes the number too sloppy to interpret <--GM prejudice here. Reply back here if you can't locate the session you played in and I or another PFS member can help troubleshoot your problem.

Thanks Doug Doug. I did check under My Account...Pathfinder Society. I only have one character and I don't see any sessions listed when I click on Sessions.

I registered my character before the session, so I don't think that's the problem.

My GM wrote my number down himself :) Let me double check with him regarding the number that he wrote down at our session.

Thanks.

I spoke to my GM and he did does have my correct number. He said that it takes several weeks for his sessions to show up after his GM enters them. Is that normal for everyone else too?

Ask your GM to go into his sessions under his user ID, which will show what he has GMed (as opposed to what he has played). For each game he has reported, he can see who was on the table by their PFS character name. If a player has registered their character correctly and the GM reported it correctly, the PFS character name on the GM's session will be hyperlinked (blue font) to that character's profile. If not, the name will be in black font which means it was not reported correctly. I've reported over 100 sessions and everything has always been instantly viewable to the players as soon I save and exit.

Thanks. That is very helpful. I will ask him to check.

My DM got everything squared away, so I can see my session now. Thanks for your help!
