Multimajormagic?

Rules Questions

Just wondering - can a Rogue take the Major Magic rogue talent more than once to gain access to a bunch of different spells?

...Oh. Well, referencing the rules, it says a talent can't be taken multiple times.

But it'd be cool, wouldn't it?

And hardly overpowered.

Why not houserule it?

2 x 2 first level wizard spells at rogue level 6 seems hardly overpowered.

But if you think it is, then require the rogue to take minor magic every time he wants to have major magic. This way, he has 4 uses of 2 1st level spells and 6 uses of 2 cantrips at 8th level, without taking any other rogue talent.

Hmm, seems hardly worth it. He could as well take a level of sorcerer.

Is there really much of an advantage over picking up a wand of x? Activating a wand is a dc 20 use magic device check...

Not risking failure or saving investing in a skill. But other than that, not really.
