Order of the Glass Jaw (or: Monks with good CMB, bad CMD)

Rules Questions

Unless I miss something, monks only get to use their class level as BAB for their CMB, not their CMD. They don't even get Defensive Combat Training as a possible bonus feat.

Am I missing something?

Well, they get to add their monk AC bonus to their CMD, so it mostly balances out.

Sovereign Court

and defensive combat manuevers doesn't have hard pre-reqs to take so putting it on the bonus feat list is kinda a waste.

By that logic, none of the 1st & 2nd level options should be on the list.

Monks get their AC bonus to CMD *as well as* their Wisdom modifiers to CMD. Every 4th level a monk equals a full BAB class in terms of the AC bonus to CMD alone.

They simply don't need the feat. It's a nice bonus but unnecessary.

Indeed, with the AC Bonus their CMD is (3/4th BAB + 1/four level)[full BAB] + Str + Dex + Wis + 10, and they can still if desired take Defensive Combat Training as one of their odd level feats giving it an additional +1 per four levels. Their CMD is normally above average, and it can be very very good.

That's not untrue. Still a case can be made for being untouchable.

Maybe it shouldn't be automatic, but it certainly fits as a bonus feat. Easy enough to house-rule, though.
