Announcing the Anarchist Gamemaster’s Cookbook: Recipes for Games That Don’t Suck!

Peer into Nicolas Logue’s demented mind and taste his darkest sanity-shattering gamemaster tricks from a decade teaching theater in NYC, China and London. These forbidden fruits come screaming through the interwebs straight to your home gaming table. For use with any game or system.

Anarchist Gamemaster’s Cookbook is packed full of terrifying advice on gamemastery that Nicolas Logue has never dared share before with man or beast. Put your humanity at risk with lessons including Improv by the Skin of Your Teeth, Murder Death Kill, Ultimate Climaxes (you know what I mean), Soundtracks, Romance, Redemption, God Like Powered Player Characters, Why Dragons Should Always Win and more collected here in one master tome.

A curse? Woooo!

How much is shipping to, say, Germany?

And will a free Anarchist d20 be included? If not, how much for the Anarchist d20?

Seriously, I need that die!

Don't know your postal code but Nick's webshop shows 7$ to some random code in Germany...

I'm sorta 'meh' on the book. I preordered for the curse. ;-)

The anarchist D20 does not exist...yet. ;-)

Not sure exactly what shipping will be to Germany. $7-8 sounds about right.

Heh! Its true! How many "books" are out there you can buy? But "curses" those are harder to come by these days. :-)

Am not in a position to pre-order right now, Nick. Very tempting offer though.

No worries Rad! You shall be cursed at a later date perhaps! Plenty of time to take advantage of the pre-order price - It won't change until the PDFs go out to the pre-orderers (probably in February).

Wizards Duels are potentially THE single most exciting thing about fantasy gaming - if you know how to make them really sing.

Unfortunately, the only real wizards duel that sticks in my mind is from the second Conan movie, where the little chinese dude working with Conan gets in a mental duel with the bracer-clanging pet wizard of the bad guys.

Well, that, and Egg Shen vs. Lo Pan, but that's just classic. :)

Hey Nick, just ordered Razor Coast and had a question about the rules version. Do you have an email that I can contact you at? Thanks!

edit: Never mind, just got a confirmation email that I can reply to.

Rock!

The confirmation emails will go out as soon as layout is done with RC and it goes to the printer. Soon now!

just stumbled over your products yesterday. You my fav writer for 3.x so had to get on the band wagon. Can not afford the cookbook right now(just got razor coast) how long is that special price going to last.

The sinisteradventures.com page has been suspended and is inaccessible. Can anybody shed some light on this? Major revamp (yeah, I'm optimistic like that)? More trouble (arrrr ...)? Sinister plans that would drive us simple mortals mad (MAD! I tell you!) if we knew of them?

Here's hoping everything is okay with Nick and SINISTER will be back up shortly.

Any updates on this? Looking forward to it....

This was announced as far back as December 2008. Is it really coming out?

The only announcement I ever saw said shipping in April 2010. And the web site still says that. So it isn't late yet.
But, I had not heard anything at all in a while, so I was curious.

I'm keen - though I'll wait for the PDF on Paizo. Make it so Logue-an.

PS - eta?

Heh. You're going to be waiting a long time... unless Agresta gets drafted to assist here too.

Liberty's Edge

I can't find any mention of it or updates on the site forums at sinisteradventures.com since october 2009.

...and you won't. :(

Urizen, do you have any information to share?

I personally do not other than what I read over on the Razor Coast updates. I put out a feeler and if anything comes back, hopefully it'll get mentioned here.

Dark Archive

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

The last thing I remember reading about it and this is from memory so take it with a grain of salt. Is in one of the Razor Coast posts it was mentioned. If I recall it is the next book that will get done and it is either mostly written or completely written. But then so has RC been completely written for some time now. Editing, art, layout etc is what is taking all the time and as far as I know this has not even started that process. Personally I think the soonest we will see this is about 3 months after RC comes out.

I'm sorry, I can't hold my tongue any longer. I almost got sick when I read recent postings of how people have just pre-ordered this.

You all need to go see the Razor Coast thread that started YEARS ago w/ the most ironic subtitle ever ("This is not an April Fools joke"). I pre-ordered Razor Coast years ago, and have heard nothing but excuses and promises ever since about when it would come out.

You're free to do what you want w/ your own $, but "buyer beware" screams out to be heard here.
