I recently discovered this forum due to the fact that I'm gonna be running a Shackled City campaign and I was looking for things to enhance it, leading me to the Paizo site. I discovered Pathfinder, and everything else.

I love this community. There are some really talented people making fan material, and they ask for our feedback, and use it thankfully. There are great artists willing to draw your characters or whatnot. There are people introducing their own conversions for all of us to use.

There's great conversations, and productive debates on the rules and everything else.

Then there's Paizo itself. EXTREMELY talented game designers, writers, and artists. Not only that, but unlike just about any other company, they really ask for the customer's feedback of what they want out of a product, and not just to open playtest, but here on the forums, us "customers" can make suggestions and they'll actually be listened to.

The forums also have people from all over the gaming industry coming and getting feedback on their products as well.

This is a place filled with people who care about the gaming hobby and want to see it become the best it can possibly be.

You all are awesome, thank you for existing.

Sovereign Court

Ahh, Shackled City. That was my Paizo gateway drug, too. :)

It's true, this is a pretty awesome community; whether you post a lot or just lurk, there's a lot of entertainment to be had, and the information available from the community and the creators is second-to-none (exemplified by the GM Reference threads, in my opinion).

It is too bad they totally nerfed the Wizard and made it full of fail.

Should we welcome him to the boards now?

Has he gotten a cookie yet?

Zombie chowpounces the poodle and eats his nerf-obsessed brain.

*Burp*

Excuse me, and welcome to the board!

And I see CourtFool is honing his razor-edged sledgehammer still. ^_^ j/k

*scarfs down two cookies before realizing he's being kinda rude.* Thanks Lilith. Peanut butter, my favorite!

*shoves the rest of the cookies into his piehole.*

Rude is Sebastian. You are not even in the same hemisphere.

Rude is...being a crazy egomaniacal Bella Sara pony lawyer.

Is there an echo in here?

I maintain that there are more posts ABOUT Sebastian than posts BY Sebastian.

No wonder he has an ego.

I believe the same could be made for Vomit Guy, so, yeah…great company that.

Of course, I'm just that awesome. Everyone wants to be me, but they can't - mostly because my awesomeness is beyond anything they could ever hope to achieve. So they content themselves with posting about me, in the hopes that I might actually acknowledge their existence and thus elevate them beyond their usual gnat-hood.

I must say old bean, in perusing your rather disconcerting response, I am certainly not (to use the modern vernacular) "feeling the love".

Spoiler:
Blaaaaaarrrrph!

You have been humping the wrong legs then.

Unlike you, my furry canine friend, I do not "hump" legs. Not to imply that such behavior is in anyway wrong, but it would be against my own personal sense of decency.

Spoiler:
Blaaarrrrph!

Aha! I think we found the problem.

Welcome to the boards. I was in your shoes once upon a time, hope to see you around.

My gateway drug was James Jacobs...I think he puts secret messages in his edits.

I should have known you were one of us, Vomit Guy.

.....smurf.

Dammit, Jal, did you have to go tell everybody that?!

Anyway, welcome, ChrisR, though we've already interacted in other threads, I don't think I extended the green leaf of fellowship to you before. [insert predictable CF crack/hump]

Join a cult. You know you wanna.

The safest bet, is to join them all.

Yup. Pull up a key board and make yourself at home. Don't mind the poodle, he'll just hump yer leg. It's those damn zombies ya gotta watch out for...

Trips the new guy, in hopes of sharing some grey matter with Master Amberzombie. Braaaaains...

Beer and barbeque at the Jacks. Why waste time climbing to the top. Start there.

You must do what you feel is right to the Jack...

How about a community instead of a cult? Make yourself at home in the Celestial Sett, if you're a Mustelidae, gnome, or other badger-friend.

Undertake heroic wandering in the good ship CORBOSSY as a member of Jason's crew.

Damn it! I know you're a wolf and all, but could you at least try to spell my name correctly! It's ABERZOMBIE!!!!

Amberzombie is a buddy of mine's ex-girlfriend. I tried to warn him that all she wanted was his body, but that didn't work out to well.....

Yeah, Amberzombie and Feltch.

Nope, that's Aberzombie. There's nothing more disgusting that an underfed, underdressed, underaged, androgynous zombie in casual luxury. Except at the exact moment that it begins to feed.

I still think that avatar gives a false representation as that is clearly a skeleton, not a zombie.

Meh, just because the face has no flesh doesn't mean it can't be a zombie.

No self-respecting zombie I know would have let his whole face rot off. You should've at least kept an eyeball.

I'm a rotting corpse - self-respect went out the window a long time ago.
