As long as you buy me dinner and promise to call, I don't care where your mind goes.

Hmm. I didn't get any of the promotions I was looking for.

I am sorry to hear that. Better luck next time.

At least this time the hiring manager didn't rip me a new one as she tends to do in everybody's post-interview chats. She actually had some nice things to say, and said I just didn't have the experience for the job I wanted, which is fair enough.

I also think that the harder it is for me to get a promotion, the more likely I am to go to grad school when the opportunity arises, so maybe it will all work out for the best. (You know, when a company starts throwing more money at you, it gets harder and harder to walk away.)

Of course not. As far as I can tell you're an equal opportunity flirt. ;)

And well worth flirting with. ;)

Sorry.

At least you don't sound like this will stop you from advancing yourself. That's a good thing.

A fair and just accord, mistress ;)

And as far as where my mind goes, I can't let it wander off too far, lest it get lost. I guess that's the price for being mildly allergic to reality, I suppose... :)

Sorry you didn't get the promotion. But glad that the post interview stuff was better.

Lysol's new selling point is that it kills H1N1.

So does any soap. But people will probably start buying Lysol like crazy.

My mom used to have a plaque that hung on her wall that said "Of all the things I ever lost, I miss my mind the most."

I mean, there's so many fun things you can't do if you're incorporeal...unless of course you have some ghost touch gloves, hon, in which case I'm just fine with it. ;)

He is going. He was hungry though, and ER trips take hours here.
