How are we ever going to get more gold if we don't mine!

Originally I opened three different tabs with the reply button with the intention of using the add reply at the bottom for a blank and to then copy/paste from the other three tabs to make one big post. (Run on?) Then, I decided this was a thread to add to my post tally and hit submit in succession to all three posts... I see what that got me: eaten posts.

live and learn.

Oh well, no need to spam in order to build my post count.

edit: mine!

Steal it from the people who do?

But, that's not very nice...

*There seems to be an odd, child-like, and confused expression forming on the ever shifting face of The Thing from Beyond the Edge*

Yeah, let someone else do the hard work, then rob them.

Helpful Tip: Don't rob the miners going to the mine. They've got no gold going to the mine. When they have got the gold, on the way back, then they can sweat.

I applied for another job today, working as an advisor in the Social Studies department at the local university. The funny thing is that two of my references that I put on job applications work in that department. I hope that gives me a leg up.

Cool. Good luck with that!

Ooh, maybe we can get Solnes and Moorluck to move over to High Point and you can teach Kellen. :)

Yeah, the multi-tab thing works...poorly on these boards.

Hello, Ambrosia. How's life where you are?

Lynora: Glad things seem to be working out for Bryce. Good luck on the job hunt and hope you feel better & catch up on sleep.

Sharoth: Sorry to hear about the roof repairs, but it luckily sounds like the pain in your wallet won't be as severe. Here's hoping you get a good contractor. Oh, make sure he is licensed, insured, and pulls the permit himself; I don't doubt your common sense, but some of these fly-by-night "contractors" can be pretty slick.

Mairkurion: Sorry to here about your tooth ache, hope the pain is tolerable until it gets fixed.

Urizen: Hope the surgery goes well. Chef Boyardee for breakfast?! I need to steal Futurama's idea and invent Bachelor Chow.

Thanks for the well wishes on that.

Having a Meh-day, but that's nothing for me to complain about it. Any luck on your SuperStah?

Still, I'm sorry to hear about the Mehness.

I'm second- and third- and fourth-guessing myself. "It's 'spell in a can'," "What PCs would use this item," "It draws on a reference to something that no one knows about anymore," are just some of the thoughts going through my head while I'm working on it. Grr.

I should just get it done and let it sit.

I have my idea, I just need to nut out the Mechanics of it. I too am second guessing myself as to whether it will be looked upon favourably or not. Like you I should just get over it and write it up.

Just a bit of holiday blues trying to sneak in under the door. It's normal (for me).

I'm sure you're being to hard on yourself. Afterall, 2009's Last Leaves is just a fancy spell-in-a-can too. Finish it and then try not to think about it for a few days.

Oh, Wolfgang owes you one. I had KQ on my wishlist because of you, and my sis got me a year's sub... got my first PDF (#11) yesterday!

That's what I'm going to do. Thanks.

Cool about getting KQ (even though I'm not sure what I did to convince you to get it)! I think you'll enjoy it. #11 is the best issue yet, in my opinion.

I'd been wanting it for about a year, but you and David (and your KQ submissions) convinced me.

Good evening folks. Pretty decent day today, even though it lasted longer into the night than usual. Got a lot done today with my contractors onboard ship. Huzzah! Hope everyone else is doing well.

Tomorrow, after a quick meeting with the ship, I get to head back to Philly for about 24 hours, then it's down to New Orleans for the holidays.

Only flipped through it so far, but it reminds me of the old days of Dragon (in a good way). Hope to take a thorough reading in next couple of days or so.
