Good luck, Flash. I hope it works out.

By the way, the quick drake was inspired by your namesake. :)

Sorry I missed you yet again last night, maybe we'll be able to catch each other tonight.

Not your fault. Stupid work...

I finish at 3pm again tomorrow and have to pick the kids up from school again. I am going to try and get out at 2pm(ish), but we've all seen how well that's worked out in the past before right... :/

I should at least be able to get on on the weekend for a little while which will be good. I think I remember what you guys look like...

Good for you! I'm kinda ambivalent about returning to food service, for reasons I'm sure you are well familiar with. My wife and I do have the goal of opening a bakery/catering service at some point in the future, so it will be good practice for running a food-oriented business. Patrick, good luck with your endeavor, too.

I was always a good employee when I did my food service stint. It's probably why I got scheduled for 60-hour weeks and worked 73 days straight one summer. Not that I minded, I liked the overtime, and the only other responsibility I had was showing up for gaming 4 nights a week.

Yep. Me too back in the day. The problem is that the good folks get stressed and the bad folks skate because there is no one else to work the counter thanks to the sub-par payscale. But, needs must, and I need moolah, so ...

Wow. Lots of posts. What did I miss?

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

An unknown assailant killed Sharoth with an Arrow of Dragon Slaying. Sebastina and Dill Dotee Baggins argued over the body, and they discovered a mutual affection. Which they consummated behind the woodshed. Oh, wait, that's...what...actually...happened.

Silver Crusade

Makes me glad I was in bed.

Morning, all!

From the smell of this thread, I just missed a zombie by about 15 minutes .... ;)

Moorluck: some folks don't deserve to remain in business. Good, let them go and make room for enterprising folk like our David.

Hey, Mairkurion. How's it going?

Hey!

Knee deep in bad essays, trying to grade my way out.

Did you witness the birth of the fiend-and-a-half?

I was there when that hellspawn started. I decided it was best to just back away.

Why aren't there any D&D parties like this anymore?

Perhaps for you. It seemed pretty normal to me.

Sharoth or Moorluck, I'd guess ....

Dark Archive

Really? Aasimir half fiend? Isn't that the most mutually exclusive idea ever?

You guys will never guess.

Holy crap, it's Celestial Healer!

That's a complete guess

How about an axiomatic protean?

In CIS Russia, you mystify sock-puppets!

Vait, comrade, vhy doesn't that sound right? Ah, vell, I can solve everything by drinking vodka and tearing off my shirt so the vomen can admire my manly torso ....

No, if I was going to come on this thread with a new anonymous alias I would be making fun of more people.

Wow. What a trip down memory lane. I just watched 'The Dragon's Graveyard.' I knew Danny Most (Ralph Malph) did the cavalier, but Willie Aames did the ranger? Funny ..

EDIT: OK I think I know who it is. I'll keep quiet with my guess. I don't want to spoil the fun.

I'm a linguist. Languages (especially European ones) have a lot in common with each other. After puzzling out one from a whole differnt linguistic genus, the Germanic/Romantic languages seem tame...

Seriously, guys, don't help women stalk me. Life is already "interesting" enough as it is.

Leave me alone, Hill. I already explained why I voted for Obama in the primary. Your husband got votes from me twice. You still got a sweet job in the end, I think I've done enough for your family.

The great thing is that I can sit and talk to myself and not draw suspicion.
