A question for the trippers

Rules Questions

There's a nice feat in Cheliax, Empire of Devils called Fury's Fall. It basically lets you add your dexterity modifier to your combat maneuver check when tripping.

Then there's the feat Agile Maneuvers in core rulebook, which replaces strength modifier with dexterity modifier in CMB.

My question is this: Do these two feats stack, so I could get 2x dexterity modifier on trip checks?

P.S If you're posting in this thread, you're probably not my DM. I'd appreciate if answers like "not in my game you wouldn't." would not appear here unless they are supported by RAW.

The two feats would stack. One replaces Strength, while the other adds Dexterity on top of your CMB bonus (which, with Agile Maneuevers, is Dex+BAB+size) for the purposes of tripping targets. It's pretty cut and dried that one is a replacement, the other an addition, and so they don't tread on one another's toes.

Hmm, and people were saying that they'd nerfed the spiked chain... :P

Yes. Assume a Fighter 5 with a Dex of 16 and a Str of 12.

Normal CMB is +6.
CMB with just Agile Maneuvers is +8.
CMB with just Fury's Fall is +9 for tripping, +6 for everything else.
CMB with Agile Maneuvers and Fury's Fall is +11 for tripping, +8 for everything else.

Assume Halfling Wizard 3 with a Dex of 18 and Str of 8.

Normal CMB is -1.
CMB with Agile Maneuvers is +4.
Add Fury's Fall and it's +9 for tripping.
Add Cat's Grace and it's +13 for tripping.
Add Reduce Person and it's +14 for tripping.

Beware the tiny halfling wizard tripping machine!

BAB still sucks

Question, a halfling has a size negative to his CMB so normal CMB at BAB +1 would be -1 wouldn't it? then with agile manuevers it'd go to +4, then with fury fall if all it does is add your dex mod to trips that'd be +8, with cats grace +12, and then Reduce person add +1 to dex mod, but then has another -1 to size making your total +13? Or am I missing something?

I was about to submit a reply explaining exactly the same. I guess you managed to edit your post before I finished my reply. Kudos for that ;)

But you're correct. I added +5 for Fury's Fall when it should've been +4.
