I was just reviewing the shipping options for my new Pathfinder subscription, and noted that October's releases are being shipped separately: the book for $6 and change by standard USPS rate, and the GM screen at $8 and change for priority mail. Is there a particular reason why this is being done? It's a bit absurd to pay $8 for the mailing of a $15 screen when it seems it could just be put in the same package with the book for a fractional increase in price, and far more secure shipping, since it's a hell of a lot harder for the postal monkeys to bend a screen if it's sitting flat against a thicker book.
Thought I'd ask this before it actually shipped.

If a customer has more than one subscription, they have the option of having all of their subscription shipments combine (either when all of the books have been released for the subscriptions they have for the month, or when the Pathfinder Adventure Path book for the month is released). If you only have one subscription, though, the books will be shipped as they are released.
However, if two books are released at the same time, our system will automatically combine them into one shipment when we go to ship. We are planning on releasing the GM Screen and the Bestiary at the same time, so they should be shipping together.

Thanks. I'll look forward to the shipments being put together after the chaos of this week is done.
