Promotional items for Pathfinder RPG

Announcements

Hey all,

Not sure where to post this question but here it goes. I will be running the new Pathfinder RPG at the Central Canada Comic Con in Winnipeg Manitoba this October 31-Nov 1 of this year and was wondering where I could get my hands on promotional items like cardboard cutouts, posters, or anything I could post at the table to promote the game as much as possible. I'm hoping that this post reaches Lisa Stevens. I would really appreciate the help.

Thanks

Lantern Lodge

Life-sized cardboard cutouts of the iconics would totally rock.

Silver Crusade

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

And a life-sized cardboard cutout of Cosmo ... I want one.

Thanks a lot Vic, I will do that. I think that the more I can advertise Pathfinder at the Con the better it will be received. Again, thanks so much.

Also, does anyone here know which adventure I should run for the con? Something easy to ease folks into play would be ideal.

Depending on how long the time slot is, you could run "D0 - Hollow's Last Hope" free Game Mastery module. You would of course have to change the stat blocks to Pathfinder RPG, but that is a trivial amount of work.

I was thinking of running that one. The slots are 4 hour blocks, but that is not a hard and fast rule. I'm basically going to be running it for the length of the two day Con. I was also thinking about setting up prizes and what not but I may leave that for next year. Thanks for the suggestion.

PFS scenarios are designed to run in that time frame and you could offer a number of them. By running these, you can get new blood into the society while exposing people not interested in OP to the new rules. Take a bunch of pregens and focus on filling the tables, but if people bring their own PCs or like the idea of PFS, there are registration cards you can give them with confirmation numbers so that they can get credit for playing the scenario.

How much are the stats different from the Pathfinder RPG?

Sorry just thought they went across. I guess that shows how new I am.

CMB & CMD - Old Grapple, Sunder, Trip etc.

Skills: New == Old
Perception == Spot, Listen, Search
Stealthy == Move Silently, Hide in Shadows

are the "big" ones for most low level monsters.

Add some hit points, maybe a feat and you should be good to go. If you are referring to high level monsters are important stat'd NPCs do a full conversion.

I believe that a PDF will be published with greater details.
