[Mini Rant] Why can't film reviewers know what they are talking about?

Off-Topic Discussions

I'm watching The Totally Rad Show (admittedly, I don't really like the show, but I like the news aspect of it).

They are reviewing Terminator Salvation, and they don't really have a clue about the time traveling paradox the franchise uses...

They are complaining the the Machines "know too much" for the future, but forget that Skynet grows from the series so it has that information in the future.

There is a reason I fast forward through most of it. ;-)

Film reviewers pretty much get paid for their opinions. They probably haven't seen any other Terminator movies, befor this one. All in all I don't trust most movie reviewers.

Scarab Sages

Isn't there and old saying "Those who can do. Those who can't...."

Anyway, the day I let what some critic's opinion help form my own judgement about a movie is the day I allow someone to whack me in the family jewels with a spiked baseball bat before drilling holes in my skull, then covering me with honey and dropping me in a pit filled with starving rats.

Let me know, I'll ge the spiked bat and the drill. Honey and rats will be procured fresh for the occasion, of course.

How much you charge for that?
