*Singing and dancng around the room*
I am getting ready to go out with the hubby. Our anniversary is tomorrow..(I know I told you all this yesterday, but I am saying it again!)
Dinner and a movie...no kids....hopefully the rain will stop and we can walk on the beach...
Time for cute skirt, shirt, shoes, hair done, make up done...and perfumed. *sigh* I love going out with the man!

Is Hell Exothermic or Endothermic?
As you study for exams, remember its not the quantity it's the quantity. And remember there is no substitute for pure unadulterated bull
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----
Dr. Schambaugh, of the University of Oklahoma School of Chemical Engineering, Final Exam question for May of 1997. Dr. Schambaugh is known for asking questions such as, "why do airplanes fly?" on his final exams. His one and only final exam question in May 1997 for his Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer II class was: "Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with proof."
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:
"First, We postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave.
Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, then you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant. Two options exist:
1. If hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.
2. If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the quote given to me by Theresa Manyan during Freshman year, "that it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then Option 2 cannot be true...Thus, hell is exothermic."
The student, Tim Graham, got the only A.

CH, I hope you had a good trip home. Looking forward to you rejoining the insanity here. :)
Solnes, sorry to hear about the school situation. It sounds like their moving towards a little bit of a solution, though. And, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Enjoy your night out.
David, good luck on getting the Smithsonian gig. I live in North Carolina, so I'm not quite down the road from DC, but I'm within a day's drive. If you get the job, we can all meet up in Myrtle Beach in May. :) I think your Wayfinder article is great, and you won't have any problem getting it in. Shoot, they took my article for #1. :)
Hi, Flash! I hope you're getting sleep and something to eat.

The new position at work got interrupted with stuff that needed attention for my old position at work. That's OK. It's not like I've moved to a whole new company.
Holy cow! I've never had an "adjustment" done by a chiropractor. That was freaky. My back still hurts, but I need to give a couple more times I guess.

It does take a few times. My dad swears by his chiropractor, been going for years and his back feels so much better.

I think I'll like the work. I'm a little concerned about the potential "Big Brother" stuff going on, where one guy seems to be roaming around and noting when I'm talking to people about non-work stuff. If I get dinged for that, oh well. I'm not going to change.

Hi, Flash! I hope you're getting sleep and something to eat.
Hey taig.
I did eat one thing yesterday about 4.30pm. So it was sorta lunch and dinner in one... :/And I ended up getting about 8 hours sleep which is a nice change. Although the extra hour (from 7-8) I actually slept in and the wife wasn't happy about having to handle the kids on her own... :/

Oh, that sucks. Sorry to hear your wife got mad at you.
On a different subject, are you going to submit something for this year's Paizo Superstar competition?

Well, it looks like my pbp may actually be starting up again. We'll see how many players show up after my long absence. But since I had eight to start with, if even half are still around then we got us a game. :)
Cool. Good luck.
I wish our pbp DM would come back. I was enjoying what little we did. :(

The high seas game. The nightwatch game kept getting bogged down waiting for players who rarely posted.
Edit: I'm open to starting that one up again. I've got the plot all planned out and everything. But I'd need to get some more players for it first I think.

I'm not sure what kind of posting schedule you're looking for, but I can handle a post a day on a pbp. If you'll have me on board, that is. :)

We went and took the kids to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs today. It ws a very funny, very cute movie. When we got home, one of our old neighbors that we haen't seen in ages shows up and gives my wife and I two movie tickets and a $75 Applebee's gift certificate. I guess things are looking up.
