More than 20% of all PaizoCon attendees are going to the Meet and Eat!

Now if only I could get my flight to arrive in Seattle quicker--without subsequently enjoying a vacation in Guantanamo Bay.

I find it amusing that the unofficial Meet & Eat this year is going to have more people than the entire first PaizoCon :-). It's really cool that PaizoCon took off so quickly.

Looking forward to seeing you all Thursday night! And to a nice plate of halibut and chips, of course...

My GF is likely to be able to come as well, so I'm probably +1

BTW, an idea just occurred to me: Since the Meet and Eat is happening before the con and people won't likely have badges... it might be a good idea to bring some nametags and markers for the event so everyone can have a "Hello, my name is:" to slap on themselves, since most of us will be meeting each other for the first time.

It would be higher, but some of us get in too late ... <sigh>

Eat some shellfish for me ... after pounding the heck out of it of course. ;)

Add my monk-playing buddy Casey.

Wow. We're now at 43. I sure hope the room can handle more than 40!

I might be #44 - we'll have to see how my Thursday goes, and how jet-lagged I am. I'm sure there will be a couple of no-shows, as well.

I know Immora told Lilith that we'd probably be there, but I don't think she posted in the thread so just to make sure we're on the list... That poor crab pot. Do they know what will descend on them that thursday?

Just to double check...We are meeting at the Crab Pot in Bellevue, not Seattle, right?

Correct. In Bellevue. More parking...closer to the hotel.

We are at 46 people now....gonna need an overflow area....

-1 Gotta help the wife finish her DNA data models tomorrow. Big presentation on Monday and I've got "plans" for the weekend. ;-)

I don't think I was on the list anyway, but my flight has been moved back to a 9pm arrival time, so there's no way I'm making this. :-( Given that I was planning on taking the bus in from the airport, I might not even make it to any after M&E events. That makes me a sad panda.

I may see you at the airport yoda8myhead ... I'm slated for landing at 855pm local. If you see a guy who kinda looks like Penn Gillette, that'd be me. ;)

Perhaps we could coordinate a shared shuttle back to the hotel?

I think the shuttle is a per person deal ... wouldn't hurt to price compare a cab though ...

I'm coming in on US Air flight 1543 from Charlotte NC. If you want to look into pricing a cab, let me know.

EDIT: I just checked my flight status ... my flight from Charlotte to Seattle is showing 50-60% on time ... anyone got a buff for on-time flight departure times?

I can stop by for a beer after work (around 5:30), but I can't stay for EATS -- one last meal this week with the family.

Tim, another successful meet and eat!!! Thank you! I'm still FULL, good choice on the venue! The way things are going we're going to have to take over a whole restaurant, closed for private party Paizo 2010 only!!
Thanks again!

Agreed. An enjoyable evening all around. Thanks to those who organized it.

I just wish I could go to the Con to further enjoy everyone's company. Stupid work. :(

Great event.

I had a great time meeting everyone who showed up.

You all think there might be something like this next year? Or before 2010 is out?

This has kind of become a tradition, so yes, there is a good chance we will keep having the Meet and Eat. But only right before PaizoCon.
