This is a History Channel program that deals with different aspects of what would happen if one day the world woke up and all the people were gone. It was a special first, and that did so well that it is now a series. It is very interesting, particularly when they go to places, like Japan's Hashima Island which have been abandoned and nature has been allowed to reclaim the region. It is a great source of information for post apocalyptic games, where the majority of human kind has vanished.

I thought Life after People was great. All the various destruction was carefully researched and well done. The only part that I was wondering is where we all went? We missed the first 10 minutes.
That is what makes the series so great. It's not about what happened to humans, just about what happens when we are gone. They leave the where did we go part up to the imagination.

While the concept is intriguing, I think it would induce a major panic attack in me if I were to watch it in my current state of mind, considering the billions of deaths that would lead to the extinction of mankind. I avoided the special for just that reason.
My wife was watching it with me and had to get up and leave the room. It was scaring her too much! (And this comes from a woman who can watch Rob Zombie's movies back to back.)
