The basic thing I would want out of a companion book on this country would be how to run a revolutionary campaign. How do they spread the word about democracy? How do they get resources when other countries (surely) blockaded them? How are their cells in other countries organized and connected? How do they protect themselves against Cheliax? How do lawful alignments work in a country where the laws are grounded in the will of the people rather than the divine right of kings or the judgment of the people's betters, aka aristocrats? Who are their internal enemies? What are their military strengths and weaknesses?

Basically, you've got a chance to do an extraordinary mini-setting here. In companions about the elves, you're basically describing the origins of Golarion, its past more than its present. Yes, I want you to sketch out what living in a country that changed Golarion means. But more than that, I want you to give me guidance on what this country's future is.

Well, there's always Army Field FM 31-21 Manual - Guerrilla Warfare and Special Forces Operations or it's far more recent cousin FM3-05.130 - Special Operations Forces Unconventional Warfare. I'm sure there's some non-fiction works on CIA destabilization operations as well, but I don't know any off the top of my head. The Maquis and similar groups in WWII might offer some insight as well.

Granted these would just give you general overview and some organization thoughts separate from the specifics of Golarion.

As for the divine right argument, it's strongly implied that the Cayden Caleen is in their corner, probaly along with Desna and a few others. Lawful alignments would either adjust or leave, much like they did in 18th century America. As for a blockade, why should anyone other then Cheliax blockade them? Democracy, from our perspective, may seem to bring the inevitable of monarchies, but at the time no one expected the US to last. The king of France passed out thousands of copies of the Declaration of Independence and had it read to both rural and urban peasants so they would understand what France was fighting for in helping us against the British. He did it because he underestimated things and viewed the whole egalitarian liberal democracy thing as a doomed enterprise. It sort of backfired on him.

* Please note, the He of the King of France also includes his council and ad visors.
