He hit her with some sort of magical attack. I did what I could, which wasn't much I'm afraid, and SunnyG is trying to help her find her way back.

JH looks over Lyn, concern etched upon his ruggedly handsome face. He considers trying to assist, but decides against interfering. If this was a land-based search he or E7 could help, but this may be beyond their powers. He waits, ready to react in a dozen different ways.

LJ begins to sing the same strange song she was singing earlier.
While her body remains where it is, her consciousness is skimming through the stars. She stops and waits for SunnyG to catch up. Her appearance here is different, she looks to be formed completely from wind and stars.

The song continues to emanate from her even though she is no longer singing. There appears to be some sort of path that she is following. Every now and then she stops, waiting for the path to light up before her.

He begins to lend her his strength, letting it flow to her until his vision blurs and he stumbles, leaning against a pillar to remain standing. The flow of power he's sending is cut off as he fall unconscious, still leaning on the pillar.
Djuhah catches Sky before he hits the ground. He looks over at JH.
"Honored Sir, I must return this one to the Eyrie, but I will be back. I believe he had the right idea, and I think I have a plan to help the Star Song. I will hurry as fast as I can."
Djuhah returns wearing a silver amulet with the swirling galaxy pattern on it. He walks over to LJ and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Azuri'ith gave me this amulet to allow me to channel the energy from the Eyrie to her. Hopefully it will be enough."

LJ follows the trail left by Alaina, through the stars and away from them into the vast emptiness between. Eventually she comes to a shimmering wall, a border into another realm.
"The trail leaves my realm now. It will be harder to follow. It will take more effort. I - I'm afraid. But she came after me when I was lost, and I won't give up on her. Stay close."
With that she plunges through the barrier into the Dreamlands.
Both JH and Djuhah can feel a pronounced increase in the amount of power being used by her as she crosses the border into the Dreamlands. She is starting to get a little fuzzy around the edges, occasionally becoming completely translucent as she continues her search for Alaina.
JH feels the pull when Leo helps with the dreamquest. The feelings of protectiveness well up inside him.
E7 reaches out around him, using his earthsense to watch for threats while the quest continues.

Following the trail(s), Sunny G stops before the barrier and utters several incantations placing his divine and arcane energies onto Lynora-Jill. "In case we have difficulties," he explains.

"I brought Alaina back to Sunny G. It's up to him now," she says, her voice weak. "Serafina is moving her army closer. They are in the Place of the Winds. Djuhah, go back to the Eyrie. If I am not recovered before the attack comes, Sky is in charge. Pass that message along for me in case they don't know already."

The quirksome man walks thru the omniportal, though it doesn't flash. He walks toward Alaina's two forms, and looks at both curiously.
A slightly distracted expression on her features, as if her mind is on other things, the elven princess returns to the Sanctum, to collect a few personal belongings she had left behind and resolve any outstanding room payments, before she departs again.
With his aspect merged a greater entity, Sunny G summons Bouncer and Gravity Elemental Robert.
"Hostile agents are laying items of sabotage around the Sanctum." He looks to G.E.R. "Summon the other gravity elementals, find them, gather them, and hide them with a Scattering Compass in the Sanctum's Lost-n-Found corridors. The double enchantments of the compass and the corridors will blunt any harmful effects and keep them from being discovered again."
"Bouncer, have the Sanctum security prep sun prisms and the augmentation crystals in their batons. Have ready a variety of weapons and such. We're expecting allies and angry undead scum anytime now. Have them armor up and escort all non-essential personnel off the property. Those who wish to defend and stay may do so."

The Goblin with the tuxedo and bow tie emerges from behind a pillar, a cocktail glass in hand, having apparently overheard the Dalesman's question.
There was a big fight here a couple of days ago. A creature from the old Palace of Skulls attacked, and it did something to Alaina during the fight, and the god and the woman Lynora-Jill went off on a spirit-quest or something similar to attempt to retrieve her soul, because it had been driven out of her body.
Now the god's trying to figure out how to put the soul back in the body.
"Well, that explains why none of them were at the Place of the Wind. But where are Lynora-Jill and Jack Hammer now?"
