Ranged touch spells get BAB progression

Magic and Spells

Just a quick thought

power wise how would you feel about giving any charcter who gets a 1d6+1 /2 caster level type power BAB progression for it.

e.g.
Cleric with the weather domain at 15th level would get

3 attacks of 1d6 + 7 ranged touch attack at +11/+6/+1 as a full round action

Overpowered ? No effect on balance ? maybe pay for it with a feat ?

Thoughts ?

extra dice rolling.

if it 'needs' to be more powerful, just scale up the damage/ spell effect...

Don't think it's necessary.

I'm thinking of it in regards to playing a a semi-blaster druid using the weather domain.

(NB the storm burst power deals non lethal dmg so buffing in this case isn't as bad as a real dmg power)

There's a fairly limited number of spells especially early on for the offensive caster druid and I figured having this base power scale would offer an adequate supplement and free up spell slots for more interesting spells.

Plus I think I'm going to be nominated party healer hehehe so my available spells slots are fast dissapearing
