Our group is going to attempt to play through J2: Guardians of Dragonfall soon. I am not GM'ing so anything that might spoil it please put under the spoiler tag. That being said any other ideas that you have about this module I would like to hear it. Has anyone else played through it? We have played through Mr. Caralya's other module LB2: Treasure of Chimera Cove and thoroughly enjoyed it so we are looking forward to playing through this one.

Well, no one ever answered this 2 years ago; maybe I'll have better luck. :)
I'm looking for a sidequest in my campaign for 11th-level PCs. They've had dealings with a dragon in the past, and I thought I might tie it in with him. But I'd like to know where this is set, what kind of terrain, and the overall goal the PCs are supposed to achieve. Can anyone who has run or played or even read this module fill me in a little?

Actually, it kinda sucks, for several reasons.
It's out of whack with Golarion canon, because the way the module plays it seems like dragons walk the streets left and right, with Golarion giving Dragonlance a run for its money in dragon saturation department. I think James did say at some point that it shouldn't even be considered canon.
And the bigger problem is... it's a level 11 adventure going on about things which should more likely be high level material.
You think The Demon Within would be a better choice? They're not near Mendev, but they will be fighting demons in the near future.

Ooooh Demon Within is far a better choice. I've enjoyed reading it and I hope to run it at some point. It takes place at an iconic Golarion location (close to Worldwound), it has great pacing and real "oh crap the demons are upon us" feel. Two thumbs up.
