Bard vs. Cleric: Stacking.

Magic and Spells

I've lurked for awhile now, but this is my first actual post. After having read something of the suggestions for Bard regarding morale stacking I thought I'd bring up something I've been doing in my own house rules for this.

The majority of divine magic effects that granted morale bonuses I changed to sacred bonuses. I've always like the sacred bonus, but it doesn't seem to come up much. I did this with most cleric spells as well as a number of the Paladin's abilities as well. It feels thematic and right, and avoids overlap with the Bard's abilities, as well as those of any arcane caster as well.

I have done the same for my home campaign because of the problem with low level characters needing every bonus they can get.

I am really thinking abou letting just about everything stack in a game I may run, just for variety.
