Rogue talent: Slow Reactions question

Classes: Bard, Monk, and Rogue

Slow Reactions (Ex): Opponents damaged by this rogue's
sneak attack cannot make attacks of opportunity for 1 round.

so does this mean the current round or the round afterward

I've always taken it to mean until the opponent's turn next round,
in line with similar rules

Seems to me that "for 1 round" would suggest the penalty applies until the rogue's next turn, not the target's.

Otherwise, say your init order looks like this:

Bad Guy - 20
Fighter - 16
Wizard - 12
Cleric - 10
Rogue - 9

On 9, the rogue uses this ability. Then on 20 in the next round, the Bad Guy acts and removes the penalty? Doesn't seem functional that way.

thanks fatespinner that seems to make more sense

also can you take the rogue talent that gives you a combat feat multiple times for different feats? what about weapon focus for different weapons?

No to both. "A rogue cannot select an individual talent more than once." So you can take Combat Trick and Weapon Training each only one time.

pg 94
Stunning Fist (Combat)...
A defender who fails this saving throw is stunned for 1 round (until just before your next action).

only extraordinary effect defining duration of 1 round

pg 133
ACTIONS IN COMBAT
The Combat Round...
A round...
usually means a span of time from 1 round to the same initiative count in the next round.
Effects that last a certain number of rounds end just before the same initiative count that they began on.

pretty clear there lol

I stand corrected, thank you Fatespinner ;)
