I think a 7th level druid/ 3rd level sorceror/10th level mystic theurge would woop a lot of tookus!Unfortunately, the requirement of 2nd level spells from both arcane and divine casting means that a sorcerer/mystic theurge cannot gain 9th level spells when they hit 20th level (going by the RAW). The best you can get is cleric (or druid) 6/sorcerer 4/mystic theurge 10, which gives CL 16 divine (8th level spells) and 14 arcane (7th level spells), or cleric (or druid) 3/sorcerer 7/mystic theurge 10, which gives CL 13 divine (7th level spells) and 17th arcane (8th level spells for the sorcerer).
However, the druid 6/sorcerer 4/mystic theurge 10 gains a few synergies in PFRPG (like free Eschew Materials as a sorcerer and extraordinary and supernatural abilities that can be used in wild shape) that may be worth the slight hit to spell progression compared to the "normal" cleric/wizard version.
huh my appologies i was looking at wizard, the stinking PDFs are such a pain in the keister. Yeah sorc doesnt work out the best for M/T but the wizard combos work fine.
But like you said, with the sorc/druid there are some really cool synergies. So i could be a viable class without the 9th level spells. Actually looking at 9th level druid spells, you arent missing a WHOLE lot.

MT is really brilliant and simple in its concept. You get to build a broader base of spells and sacrifice how high you can build in 20 levels for that versatility.
That being said...it's boring! The loss of all those keen class features makes for a pretty dry character. Maybe the PRC could allow for a character to select two or three class features from their previous classes. If at 4th, 8th and 10th level the character can select a bonus feat or class feature (domain power, bloodline power, school power, druid feature etc...) from one of their spellcasting classes using that class level plus MT level to qualify, that might make it more interesting.

I could work with something like that.

Yes, especially since now the bonus Domain spells are not part of the Cleric spell progression anymore, but instead Cleric-specific features (and so, they do not improve) - and bonus spells from Specialization schools as well (3.x = part of the Spell chart; PFRPG = Wizard feature, not improved by PrCs), as Jer noted above (previous page)...
