Paladin of Erastil

The Exchange

So I decided on a "Plague Elf" (elf/human) as a Paladin of Erastil. As this is the god of farmers, I decided not to armor up rather i selected skills and feats that were more consistent with someone who for her childhood was carried about in a cage by the "locals".

The Paladin's ability to detect evil at first level gave them a watchdog that hung from the rafters in the village Tavern. They delt harshly with any evil that showed and got detected.

Kaiya the Plague elf
(Paladin of Erastil); S12, D14, Co9, I18, W10, Ch13; hp 5; Lawful Good; Skills-Linguistics (a broad assortment of languages), Stealth (mainly used to go unnoticed); Feat-Alertness

Identified as a "Plague Elf" while travelling through these farming communities, She was taken by the locals. Fortunately She had been chosen by Erastil as a Paladin. The superstitious Farmers kept her in a cage in their local tavern for several years ensuring that she would never touch the ground. There she serves as watchdog to her community.

Wow dude, and I thought I got crap from people for having "bad stats" for my character. Did you roll him up iron man? I mean, mucho props for being willing to play it, but a 12 str and a 13 cha, you are in for one challenging game my friend. Your smite will only provide a +1 to hit and AC so unless your campaign is centered around undead/outsiders you have one heck of a difficult time ahead of you. When you get LoH you'll only have 2, forget about channeling energy in it's current form. What kind of weapon does he weild, what HP mod did you use at first level? You said he is unarmored, so does he have a shield or is he played with a AC 12? Are there other players in your game and if so what are their classes/races?

And just out of curiosity an 18 int means that you should have 6 ranks at level 1 (2 for class + 4 for int mod) You're only allowed to have 1 rank per level which means that your character is short 4 skills. Was this intentional? I mean from your background I would expect him to have perception, survival, escape artist (would he ever want to be caged again?), and sense motive on top of the skills you allready gave him.
