Jason - Elven Rogue

David - Half-Orc Druid
Heather - Half-Orc Barbarian
Brett - Half-Elf Wizard
Rick - Tiefling Monk/Cleric

Here is my group:

Aramil - LG Male Human ?
Clara - CN Female Human Cleric
Erodel - NG Male Elf Cleric
Seldon - CG Male Elf Ranger
Terran - CN Male Halfling Druid
Torra - CG Female Dwarf Rogue
Yezyabell - CG Female Human Sorcerer

No meat-shields here, but after 3 sessions they have held their own in the fights. I did get a couple below 0, but the clerics took care of that.

Spoiler:
Of course they were still 1st level when the crimelords' raid occurred as they were just a few points shy of leveling.

So happy, I actually get to play for a change instead of DMing... we're still in the first Chapter of the Second Darkness, about 2nd level though getting close to 3rd. Format is Pathfinder RPG Beta, with the understanding we'll be updating to the final version when it's released. Characters are:

--Darius, N male human Rogue - professional gambler n' knife fighter with an eye toward the duelist class eventually. Charming n' friendly to all, and a cunning manipulator, he protests that he didn't ask to be leader of this motley crew - but he wouldn't have it any other way.
--Kalypso, CN female Varisian Cleric of Shelyn - exotic beauty who employs her feminine charms alongside a wicked glaive.
--Sergoth, CN male human Sorcerer - flamboyant n' unpredictable, this manic individual wields fire and claims to be descended from the blood of Efreeti princes.
--Vormann, CN male Ulfen Fighter - wild n' savage when carousing, his barbarism gives way to cold calculation in battle, a cunning strategist.
--Ariya, CG female half-elf Fighter - a skilled archer and reserved person, she has the sharpest eyes and ears of all her teammates.
--Andovan, LN male Taldan Wizard - mild n' somewhat squeamish, this bookish man cannot understand fully why he's thrown in his lot with this band of rowdies, but knows that on the streets of Riddleport 'tis best to have friends watching your back.

Sczarni

Not sure if I already posted this one, but here's what we ended up with:

Cap'n: Earth Elemental Bloodline Sorcerer. He loves to shoot things with acid.
Aria: Half Elf Cleric, the requisite healbot/buffer. She likes the role, so why not?
Loex: Gnomish Barbarian and chopper of legs. Greatsword + Rage + Power Attack means he gets the most kills.
Conrad: Human monk, he of the wall jumping and face punching.
Malcolm: Human Rogue, soon to be Transmuter, then Arcane Trickster. Pickpocket, scoundrel, and manager of the Gold Goblin. (My PC)

We are all Level 3, having gone through most of Shadow in the Sky, and are on the hunt for Saul, somewhere in the bowels of the Goblin now.

'Prolly because of spells like Unholy Blight, which penalizes you for being good. That, and the whole "morality of convenience" thing.

I went a different route this time around. Instead of giving the players free reign to make their characters I decided to play up the cloak & dagger aspects by having all the players make elven characters involved in the shady dealings of the Shin'Rakorath. The group, or more accurately the cell, consists of four dedicated professionals sent on a mission to infiltrate the criminal underworld, and investigate rumors of corrupt elven influence. We also decided to give the new prestige classes a try.

The group currently consists of:

* Elf Barbarian 1/Draconic Sorcerer 1 (aiming for dragon disciple)
* Elf Ranger 1/Draconic Sorcerer 1 (aiming for arcane archer)
* Elf Bard 1/Rogue 1 (aiming for shadowdancer)
* Elf Rogue 2 (aiming for assassin)

Been having a blast playing in maptools and skype, 3 players, with the following 5 PC's, Beta ruleset.

* Thavian Ornelos - LE Human Illusionist, son of Korvosa Acadamae headmaster. Currently seeking meteor magic for his own uses. Self proclaimed party leader.

* Travok Tulipprancer - NE Human Fighter, socially hopeless, with a disturbingly childlike approach to adventuring.

* Timandlon Prodigalarious - CN Elven Rogue, previously with the Crying Leaf elves, now following the more aggressive road of the PC's.

* Braak Bonecrusher - LE Half-orc Monk, worked his way from cleaning dung in Zincher's arena to bashing in drow wizard skulls.

* Talindra Namilil - CN Elven Cleric of Calistria, tight-lipped fugitive from Kyonin justice.

Only one PC death so far, Depora's poison leaving a PC vulnerable to a dretch coup-de-gras. We've just finished up Armageddon Echo - thanks paizo for putting out these adventure paths. :)

Rats; shoulda seen this weeks ago, my bad... ;->

Three players, five characters, all dinged 4th recently, and just became the proud new owners of the Gold Goblin without knowing (yet) just what's under their basement (but they will, very soon...):

Ander Bjornson, CG Human (Ulfen) Bard

Bartalan, called "Bart"; CN Half-Orc Rogue (he of the back-stabbing Battleaxe)

Madd der Tinkerin, called "Bob"; CHAOTIC!G Gnome Sorcerer, Fae bloodline

Mariam Pagala, NG "Human" (Unearthed Arcana Major Bloodline, homebuilt Rakshasa ancestry; personality, think Piffany from "Nodwick" with golden fur and tail) Cleric of Desna 1/Druid 2/Bloodline 1

Panya Calphiak, NG Human Fighter, also called "the Cuisineart" by all she meets due to her proficiency with Two-Weapon Fighting feat paired bastard swords (nothing in the Beta rules against it... <G>)

It'll be interesting to see what becomes of them all once the official PF book comes out in August! ;->

Well, just started tonight. We have (sorry, no names):

A fighter who was the last survivor of a mercenary company that was working for Magnimar and ran afoul of an army of stone giants the previous year.

An elf rogue who is from a wealthy elf family and is rebelling against them.

A cleric of Asmodeus who was driven to this dark religion when his family was murdered by a cult in Magnimar the previous year. Their murders were never solved.

A ranger bounty hunter dedicated to Cayden Cailien who was raised by dwarf miners after being abandoned by his human parents. Despises those who would enslave others and isn't too sure about the cleric of Asmodeus.

A half-elf druid who has developed a hatred of fiends due to his teacher's experiences with Treerazer. Drawn into town because of hearing about the theme of the tournament.

It'll be interesting to see how this group goes.

So the elf rogue let owning the Gold Goblin go to his head and started acting out. He had visions of being Riddleport's newest crimeboss dancing through his head. This unfortunately led him to threatening the ranger, who promptly killed him when the elf drew a poisoned bladeo on him. He has been replaced by an elf rogue/wizard, soon to be arcane trickster.

The cleric of Asmodeus was killed in his sleep by a drow skirmisher. Coup de gras is not your friend. He has been replaced by a Varisian fighter/sorcerer/eldritch knight, who had one of those wrong place, wrong time moments. Thus he is with the group now.

Whoops, wrote this way too late last night/early this morning...it's a Great Axe he's got. One (d12+STR mod)*3, +2d6 if he crits and backstabs simultaneously. Sblpht! :D

And I wonder why I can't challenge these guys ... :-/

We are starting "A memory of Darkness" Chapter 5 in our next session

Rio (me) - Human Male LE (Monk/Crane Shen 8/3)

Katin - Human Male CG (Favored Soul 11) of Cayden

Nobbin - Unknown Race Male N (Rogue/Master Thrower 8/3)

Libonelle - Gnome Male N (Sorcerer 11) Abberant Bloodline

This has been the most fun Ive had playing in a group with such diverse personalities. Plus, it is such an un-orthodox group, which makes every battle new and exciting.

Can you imagine this group in devils elbow taking on the levitating orca and two drow females that fight in a 3rd dimension? To date, that was one of my favorite battles in the AP.

Oh yea, getting chased down the hill after the rolling tower was also exciting. Those blue dogs were unnerving, Especially after seeing the tower go off the edge of the cliff and getting cornered on the edge. Thankfully, the beta has a special ki power pool that gave me a +20 on my jump check. I made a perfect landing on the slippery tower with a critical jump roll of a natural 20 while the blue dogs barked and tried to jump after me. (1) of the 6 made the jump. It was a great moment in our game.

Sorry, I sometimes get off topic with my stories.

CC

We're also playing Pathfinder Beta, with a bit of 3.5 splat books thrown in when players ask. We've just finished Armageddon Echo, and our party stands thus:

Desmyra, N dwarf druid (who has been systematically attacked by every plant of animal in the module) with a lion animal companion, Faern (who frequently overshadows her)

Kisa, CN half-elf barbarian/fighter/favored soul of Gorum (who wields a large-sized great sword and routinely bisects mooks in one hit)

Melissandra, LE human sorceress (Chelaxian who spends most of her time summoning devils) and her human monk/fighter/rogue cohort, Valeria (with no personality)

Nuka, N squirrel illusionist (who doesn't know he used to be Nolveniss Azrinae....he was a victim of a combination of baleful polymorph and awaken) and his air mephit familiar

If there's a prize for the most ridiculous PC, I think my squirrel wins.

A couple sessions into Shadow in the Sky; all characters Pathfinder beta:

- N Half-Orc druid with a t-rex animal companion named Chomper (using the updated animal companion rules)
- N Elven fighter/Wizard going into Eldritch Knight eventually
- NE Human draconic bloodline sorcerer
- N Half-Elf rogue/fighter with a focus on strength and a bastard sword/buckler combo for some defensive/offensive versatility. Plans to take skill focus feats for absurd levels of skill-monkeying.

So far I'm really liking this adventure path. I ran a party through WoTC's Eyes of the Lich Queen, which was pretty fun overall, but Paizo's material blows that out of the water.

The sorcerer may not be able to join us for upcoming sessions, so if anyone lives in the Chicago metro area and is looking for a game, let me know.

Scarab Sages

Tentative so far:

Half-orc Cleric of Gorum.
Half-elf Bard.
Human Fighter
Gnome illusionist.

And I get to dm this one. We should be starting sometime in August. Real life events have kinda slowed us down as we try to finish up CotCT.

Well, here are the planned builds, they aren't there yet:

Crusader 4 / Wizard 2 / Abjurant Champion 5 / Jade Phoenix Mage 9

This character will be the son of a great elven general (likely one of the Winter Council) who is assigned to work for the leader of Crying Leaf. As a result there is some rivalry existing with the elven mercs.

The others are still working on their builds and backgrounds but it looks something like

Spellthief
Druid
Enchanter
Archivist

I played an archivist in CotCT and it is IMO one of the best base classes I've ever played.

Finally got around to posting our group. We are just starting "A Memory of Darkness". We round robin the DM seat, so each of us runs a chapter.

All characters are beta:
Phineas (11th level human sword (Aldari) and shield fighter)
Araevin Raunaeril (11th level elven wizard with mongoose familiar (weasel)) (this is my character)
Eshrin (11th human level rogue)
Jjolg (11th level half-orc monk)
Rhus (an 11th level elven monk/rogue archer)

Retired character:
Ovir (9th level dwarven cleric of Nethys)

We actually got together about a year ago by posting on these very boards. We have fairly good teamwork and excellent roleplaying. We seem to be able to walk through most of the encounters at this point but we'll see how bad things get at the end.

Dark Archive

All converted fully to the new pathfinder.

Koltezreal - Elven Transmuter Specialist Wizard (6)
Alamar - Human Paladin of Sarenrae (5)
Savrina - Human Fighter 4/Rogue 2 (6)

Retired in shame:

Tobin - Halfling Rogue (3)

Okay so, my gróup is only just getting settled (we half through Shadow in the Sky)... But I guess that's what I get from running at a roleplay club with multiple people wanting to join and then not showing up...
I'm running Pathfinder (not Beta), but allowing some 3.5 things since I have relatively advanced players who wants more options all the time...

I have:

Starting group:
Male Human Wizard (generalist) - (planning to go Loremaster later on) Name: Cain (not Caine this time!)

Male Human Fighter (went Cleric at 2nd level, so now it's Fighter/Cleric of Sarenae)
Name: Mike

Male Half-elf Ranger (fun incident... The player HATES elves and usually plays orc, but now he's the closest to elf I have one the team)
Name: Valen-Duen

Male Halfling Bard (didn't play the first 2 sessions and left us after nr. 3)
Name: Meror (wanted the name Caleb, but was already taken)

Male Half-Orc Monk (yes!) (He didn't play 2nd time and then left permanently before 3rd)
Name: Caleb

(Late arrival) Male Halfling Rogue
Name: (I don't remember... what a poor GM I am)
(Known for constantly critting on rapier to opponent ass rolls - 2 kills on that account - Angvar and Beltias)

Dark Archive Vendor - Fantasiapelit Tampere

Our little group is now formed. Sure, the campaing itself starts at the december, but the players wanted to do their charaters now that they dont lose their enthusiasm for playing!

We have:

Chaotic (?) Human Fighter with pirate-combat specialist theme. He will multiclass to the rogue at some point. Has spikey hair and stats like-16-17-16-14-10-14.

Chaotic Neutral Half-orc Ranger. This guys a monster!!! 16-17-13-16-15-17, what the f*!$? Uses a composite longbow and a Large-sized orc Double-axe. huh.

Neutral Evil Gnome Druid. Another monster. With stats 14-16-15-14-18-13, he brings down the ones who do bad things to nature. What really makes him monster, is that he uses scythe.

Ithink they will do Juuust fine.

Dark Archive Vendor - Fantasiapelit Tampere

Okay, now I know enough of my characters:

Longini "Ling" Caspars chelish male human fighter. Escaped his old life to the riddleport, and become free spirited barfighter. Looking For Work in Gold Goblin

Gerald Bane, Varisian half-orc male ranger. Narcist. Killed his fosterfather for being not in owe.Wants to kill his orc-father also.

no name yet male Gnome druid. Loves natures cruels side, thinks that civilization and progress is the most evil thing ever. Invades to enemy territory.

After switching from Beta to Final our group looks like this:

Oswin (LN male human fighter 2)

Teshk (N male half-orc rogue 2)

Thassilo, Son of Varg the Great (N male human [Ulfen] bard 2)

Thorbar Donnerhammer (N male dwarf cleric 2 of Abadar)
As I type this, I think about the possibility to play a true neutral cleric of a lawful neutral deity...

Bakkalaureus Janus Hydarian / Master Mortalis (N male human [Chelaxian] sorcerer [aberrant bloodline] 2)
That's me. As he is the Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde type of character, I am really looking forward to the Alchemist in the Advanced Player's Guide.

It's easy to play a true neutral cleric of a lawful neutral deity; that's only one step away. You could have a lawful good, lawful neutral, lawful evil, or true neutral cleric.

I thought in 3.5 it was only possible to play a true neutral cleric if your patron deity is true neutral. Well it doesn't matter, the PRD says one step and such...

But thanks, Lady Bluehawk. : )

Sorry for hijacking this thread one more time: The Pathfinderwiki says LG,LN,LE for allowed alignments for an Abadarian cleric: Wiki

You're right about the rule in 3.5, but looks like that is gone in Pathfinder - hadn't noticed that. Of course, few noticed the rule in the first place.

Personally I might make an exception to Abadar, as he is *so* law-oriented, but most LN's are really.

The rule did keep Cleric's balanced on their choices (except TN gods with 5) - always three (LG = LG, LN, NG, LN = LG, LN, LE, etc.)

I'm only using the first two installments of Second Darkness, and am mixing it up with the Freeport Trilogy and Razor Coast for a pirate campaign, but here's the group. Ruleset is Pathfinder final.

  • Melako “Ox” Chaalu, a Garundi ex-slave from Rahadoum (Barbarian 2)
  • Tommy “Blacktoes” Burrowbank, a halfling from Riddleport (originally, Cheliax) with an attitude (Rogue 2)
  • “Serpent” Ref Jorenson, an Ulfen druid with a pet constrictor snake (Druid 1/Ranger 1)
  • Sindawe H’Kilata Narr, a Bonuwat Mwangi (Monk 2)
  • Wogan, a gunslinging cleric of Gozreh from Cheliax (Cleric 2)

Our campaign home page has full character writeups, session summaries, and design notes.

Greeting fellow travelers along the Path of Second Darkness. Allow me to introduce my travel companions, collectively we are known as The Golden Wayfinders or Wayfinders for short.

Marius - 1/2 elf Wiz 9 and brother of Volden
Kana - Assimar, Cleric 8 of Cayden Cailean
Volden - 1/2 orc Ranger 9 and brother of Marius
Jaered - Taldan, Fighter 9
Ardulwyn - Elven, Bard 9
and myself - Throal, Dwarven, Rogue 6, Fighter 1, Liberator 2

We began the SDAP as beta PC's then converterd to PFRPG PC's with it's publishing. We are now preparing to enter the drow city of Zirnakaynin.

Cayden be with us!!

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

I've been running Second Darkness for about 4 months now, and we're only now getting into part 4 (we mixed in a few side adventures, and they've enjoyed chewing the scenery in the Goblin perhaps a bit too much). I started with 8-9 players, which I managed to split for several months into several smaller groups (two groups of four & one group of about 2-3), one of which strayed off to do most (but not all, sadly) of Rise of the Runelords' first act, Burnt Offerings, while another tried to get down to Khorvosa to dabble in the Curse of the Crimson Throne plotline, but never quite got there. Now they're all back together in Riddleport and back on track to wrap up Shadow in the Sky.

The current crew is:
Freaky, a Hare Hengayoki Barbarian/Rogue who's currently romancing Lavender Lil' and embracing dreams of replacing Clegg Zincher as one of the city's Crime-lords, many continually associate him with the "Rabbet Prince" from the Harrow Deck.
Sir Travellgifu Corain, a 1/2 Troll-Human Cavalier (Order of the Sword) who really hates Riddleport, and would much rather be back in civilized Khorvosa. He seems to belive that his warhorse, Charlamane, can talk.
Mallo, a Chellaxian Swashbuckler, hopeless gambler and loyal rake, he is one of Travellgifu's bravos.
Alister Salt, Human Sorcerer (Destiny Bloodline) and impoverished Accountant, he's the one the rest of the group keeps pegging for managing the Gold Goblin's affairs. He also wants to leave for Khorvosa, having smuggled his family back there when things went south with Saul.
Daisy, an Elvish Priestess of Calestra and former Temple Prostitute from the House of Silken Veils, she is considering setting up her own brothel in the Goblin.
Cassandra Blaze, a Tiefling Infernal Sorcerer/Summoner and Silken Veil alumni, she sticking around for money and power. No one seems to know quite what to make of her Eidolon, Shadow, a phantom made up of darkness and teeth.
Mornosk, a disturbed Shoanti Druid who's dedicated himself to Lamashtu, he attached himself to the group after he was told through visions that a great darkness was coming and they were the only ones who might turn the tide against it (he is also one of the people primarily responsible for encouraging the Sandpoint crew to leave town after only sacking Thistletop's top layer). His companion is an irritable Cinder Snake called Blossom.
Veshanz, a Varisian Sorcerer (Fey Bloodline) and Harrow-deck fortune-teller, he followed some of the others up from Sandpoint more to get away from all the damned goblins and Shopkeeper's daughters (and their shotgun weddings) than to help with Riddleport's troubles.

In addition, a mix of PCs and NPCs still float around helping out from time to time (some are back-up/alternate characters, some are primaries for otherwise flaky players, some are just npcs that various pcs have made an effort to befriend and keep around):
Qilla, a Chelaxian Monk wandering the frontier, scouting locations for a new monastery.
Garrosh, 1/2 Troll-Orc Barbarian, he's made himself the Gold Goblin's rather terrifying Cook.
Caladriel, an Elf Ranger that cropped up once to assist against the Goblins of Thistletop.
Caroline, a Taldoran Rogue and runaway bride, she lost 3 fingers while helping Sandpoint in it's time of troubles, and has decided to follow Travellgifu and company back to Riddleport because it - *snerk* - may be safer.
Kaleb, a Gnomish Bard, who followed them up to Riddleport after the Sack of Thistletop, but has otherwise left them because he feels he is under-appreciated.
Squire, a 1/2 Orc Rogue/Cavalier (Order of the Dragon) boon companion of Travellgifu & Mallo's. Originally hired by Travellgifu's cousin to kill him back in Khorvosa, he decided instead to use him as a meal-ticket as his "squire," and steadily sabotages any attempt to return home rather than let the truth be discovered. After the Sack of Thistletop, he took the magnificent horse, Shadowmist, for his own.
Vayne the Redcap, an Elvish (fallen) Paladin/Oracle of Battle who was persuaded to travel to Riddleport with Caroline and company after she lost her Cavalier lover (and her paladinship) in the Sack of Thistletop. Haunted by her former partner, it hasn't really sunk in yet she's become an Oracle.
MeuhenLau, a Tengu Druid and member of the same (semi)secret conspiracy that Mornosk is, here to put a stop to the coming darkness. He endeared himself to Freaky with his healing sock-puppets and the fact that he's only one of two people he's met who even know what a Hengeyokai is. He travels with a Ax-beak companion that he calls "Krindle."
Blackheart, an Elf Rogue and one of the junior partners at the Gold Goblin, no one has seen him after he hired a bard to spread naughty limericks about his on-again/off-again girlfriend Daisy all over Riddleport, though many suspect he's rotting in one of the Overlord's cells.
Fionn, a 1/2 Troll-Elf Druid, she was the first in the strange Druidic conspiracy to show up in Riddleport to investigate the Blot and stave off the coming darkness. She and her bear met and drank with the gang at the Publican House just before the "Beat the Devil and steal his Gold" tournament that kicks everything off. No one's seen her since.

As you may have guessed, I'm using more than the core Pathfinder rules here. Besides 1/2 Trolls (an odd idea we had starting out that keeps coming back to bite me) from the Fiend Folio and Hengeyokai from Oriental Adventures, we introduced the Book of Secrets and APG Beta once they were available (retrofitting certain characters when needed). While the 1/2 Troll's fast healing, incredible strength and claw/claw/bite seems brutal at times, I have found the Book of Secret's Morale rules and the Critical/Fumble decks help balance it out.

So... my group is still forming... I am just trying to get a look at the boards. My game actually began as a WOD Mage game... someone bought me the SD module for christmas... me having never ran DND before decided to put Mage on hold to try it... however my group has worked hard on these characters and I don't want to risk not going back to it... so - I ended up having a fae in the WOD world beseach the group to come to an alternate realm with her to save her sister from capture... they are playing their same Mage characters - reimagined into a DnD world on a missing to save a fairy. I am going to have to find ways to tie in this main quest into the modules... still working on that.
I know so far I have one girl coming from a Cult of Ecstacy Mage to a Warlock
I have a Euthanatos mage coming over as either a rouge or monk
I have a Virtual Adept coming over as either a Ranger or Wizard
I have a I can't remember his mage but he's switching to a Paladan
and my final guy who has a cult of ecstacy... he is so indecisive... he has thought of doing a summoner, a chaos mage, and is now even thinking of randomly rolling a class every level and just multiclassing all the way up...
I have 1 girl and 3 guys plus myself in the group. Some of you may have seen James B. Clines posts about the Runelords... well its the same group of rpers... just with me as DMing instead of him... we will see how this goes.. :P

BTW if anyone has any suggestions or thoughts for me, being this is my first DND campaign, I appreciate any feedback. Thanks much!

-Ferlanria aka Chantelle

And our Second Darkness campaign has officially started. The line-up is as follows:

Morvius Pavo Jeggare Male Chelaxian Fighter (A proud scion of House Jeggare and war college graduate)

Callis Male Elf Fighter (This forlorn elf lives by his luck, and the watchful eyes of his friend Lustre, who endeavors to keep him out of trouble as much as possible. Also graduate of a war college, but a rival of the one Jeggare attended)

Lustre Male Elf Wizard (Callis is his best friend, but the two are polar opposites. This wizard is careful and methodical, with a seemingly endless well of patience for Callis' shenanigans)

Tessara Female Elf Rogue (Third of the elven trio, Tessara is driven by the friendship of her two companions, and the pursuit of the art of subtlety in all its forms)

Mist Female Human Rogue (A Riddleport native, this woman has a hardness that belies her young age. She is a product of her environment, jaded and streetwise)

Tsubaki Female Tiefling Cleric of Calistria (An exotic resident and employee of the House of the Silken Veil, the only evidence of her non-human heritage are her backward bending fingers)

Aeryn Female Velashu Oracle (Out of her element in the city, this member of the Horse Lord tribe seeks answers concerning the dark blot in the sky that does not recognize the power of the winds that have blessed Aeryn with power)

So I have officially started DnD but I ran an old old module Sunless Citidel first to get myself somewhat aquainted with how modules run... they are just about to hit the big bad Balek... then onto Second Darkness... I am doing pretty good and tying the fae in I think... I've decided the Drow need the power of the fae to help run the doomsday device - so they captured her and are transporting her around and the PC's are on a chase to find her... I am going to have them stop and work for Saul - in hopes he will use his contacts to help them find the fairy... them not knowing he is really who gave the fairy to depora to begin with.

Again any suggestions, thoughts are greatly appreciated :)

Playing Final German Pathfinder Rules :

Well, we are nearing the End of "Shadows in the Sky", all are Mid-Level 3. I skipped some parts and included some of my own, since the group originally should have been a Forgotten Realms D&D3 Group and I had already planned some parts when the Pathfinder Rules & Second Darkness hit us.
Saul was slain by the Raid, the Gold Goblin was theirs for a short while, but they were held responsible for Saul's Death by a NPC that set them up and they traded the Ownership to Cromarcky to "be proven innocent" ...
All that's missing right now is Depora herself, the tunnels below are half explored and I'm eagerly awaiting their reactions to the drow ...
They still have no real clue that there might be an additional party involved in this ...

Cassandra - Female Human Cleric of Desna
Eichenblatt - Male Wild Elf Rogue
Emilio - Male Human *shh* still secret to the rest of the group ..., but definitely magic abilities ...
Fenrir - Male Human Fighter (from the Northern Lands)
Tharen - Male Elf Mage

This makes no sense to me how have you changed the AP?

Liberty's Edge

Ruy Hayabusa - Male Human (Tian Xia) Monk
Eldara "El" - Female Elf Fighter
Esmerelda Vishanti - Female Human (Varisian) Cleric of Desna
Drakul Vishanti - Human (Varisian) Sorcerer (Destined)

So we converted to Pathfinder

So our group is a pretty solid group

Master Wonderflame a Gnome Fire Mage Oracle of Flame (he likes to burn stuff)

Jo-Kar a Dwarven Monk Inquisitor, ever in the search for Knowledge

Vic an Half Elf Rogue Trapsmith on his way to Master Spy

Ostrava Boletraia A Half Orc Paladin of Aroden and Warrior of the Holy Light

Milodam Gorfist A Halfling Druid Cavalier

Ok as I said in my earlier post we finished on Friday. Going into the final battle this is where our party stood

Wiz 13
Cleric (assimar) 12 (cayden)
Rogue 9/Liberator 3/Fighter 1
Fighter 13
Ranger 13
Bard 13

We all finished 1 level higher and had a blast!!!!

Silver Crusade

In my Legacy of Darkness campaign (which makes use of elements from both Legacy of Fire and Second Darkness as well as other stuff; the group is currently in between Children of the Void and The Armageddon Echo and are on a mission given them by the Pactmasters that will take them through River of Darkness and Crucible of Chaos)

* Nagato (CG Male Human Ranger 6 [uses spell-less ranger from KQ])
* Shikaba (N Female Half-Orc Fighter 1/Druid 5)
* Ill'Karn (LG Male Aasimar Inquisitor 3/Paladin 3)
* Rezumi (NG Female Halfling Alchemist 4/Witch 2)
* Tinker-Tock (CN Human Bard 6)
* Maho (N Mordent Spire Elf Conjurer 6)
* Saharin (LG Male Suli Cleric [Sarenrae] 6)
* Rock (LG Half-Ogre Fighter 6; a recent addition, though the LG is certainly questionable due to some of the things that he has suggested but has yet to act on.)

Just started the AP using Pathfinder (Core rules with some APG material). Party consists of:

Kacan: LG Male Human Monk (planning on multiclassing with Paladin)
Hedrig: CG Male Human Cleric of Calistria
Harvey: CG (I think) Male Dwarf Fighter
Redmoor: N Male Human (Chelaxian) Wizard (genralist)

Milodam Gorfist A Halfling Druid Cavalier

We got rid of Gorfist the character and the player (better for the game)

We now have a Strait Sword and Board two weapon fighter who was cursed and is covered in Tatoos that make him unable to speak trying to find the witch who cursed him so he can speak

My players have currently just finished book 2. They're all still on their first characters. Below are their characters, and reasons for being in Riddleport.

Cordilia Rana (NE female elf Rogue/Illusionist): A pirate on the run from her family and in need of coin.

Augustus Bartholomew Claye (NE male human Transmuter/Bloat Mage): A power hungry mage who decided to stay to investigate the Blot.

Quints (NE male Tiefling Alchemist): Former student of the late elder Zincher, looking into Vankaskerkin.

Kendrick Steel (CN male human Cleric/Fighter): A Riddleport native, looking for a new job to support his younger sister

Desnina (CN female halfling Fighter): Short term resident of the city, trying to find a job and stop bumming off of Kendrick.

I see this party having a hard time being motivated during the later books

Heh. You know I hear that often anytime I say I'm running an evil group. But I've always got the same answer. There are three things that motivate any evil party: Gold, Power, and Survival. And lets just say that survival will certainly be a strong enough motivator for the last few books, yes?

Spoiler:

After all, the players have no idea how wide a swath of destruction a star falling will cause. And what's the point of having all that gold and power if there's no one alive to lord it over? ;p

Yeah as long as your players are that type of evil players you should be good

I dont have a problem with running evil just in this adventure path with helpin out the elves and all

spoiler:
I think I know how book 5 is going to turn out the winter council has no chance of survival LOL.
