Simon Schama's The American Future-A History is shaping up to be a spectacular documentary. It's honest and frank, yet very respectful to the American nation and people; I really wouldn't expect such a program from any other country, even the UK.
After watching the first episode, I'm very proud to agree with Schama's assessment that, if nothing else, the reserve of American resourcefulness and motivation, the attitude of individual indomitable will, is a well the size and breadth of the nation, and 'one that will never dry up.'
