One of my 4E games collapsed recently, and I'm considering starting another, if there is interest.
It would be using a published module, probably from Goodman, probably either Dragora's Dungeon (the first in their new "Master Dungeon" line which, contrary to its name and cover image, has much more to it than dungeoncrawl and chainmail bikinis), or Forges of the Mountain King (Dungeon Crawl Classics). I'd be open to preferences.
I'd be looking for five or six players who can post at least once / weekday and once / weekend, or can give notice if they're going to miss more than a day or two. I have no qualms about moving on if we've been waiting for you for 24 hours. My games are fairly tactical, but Dragora's, at least, has significant role-playing challenges (I haven't read Mountain King yet).
Priority would go to players who've been in games of mine that are no more. Novices to 4E would be quite welcome.
Note that this is all in the subjunctive so far.

I'm interested. I'm really looking for a more tactical game, so I guess I'm more than interested. The only day I'm not 100% able to post is Wednesdays (I work and then go straight to a f2f game). Let me know.
The Wednesday thing is not an obstacle as long as it's known in advance (as it is now) -- I'd just ask you to give me some contingencies on Tuesday if we're in the middle of a fight.
Thanks for the interest!

Yes. Please. I miss Gratitude. He could have a cousin or sibling of some kind.
Warlock or wizard for preference, possibly using some of the new FR stuff I've just got my hands on, if that would be OK.
While it's been known for me to miss the odd day, it's very rare. Genuine post monster at your disposal. UK time zone, so if you end up with a lot of players from other parts of the world I could be playing tail end charlie for combats, but it's never been a real problem before.

Always a pleasure, Rev.
I'm inclined to just throw the source-material doors wide to anything from Wizards -- with the expectation that the character will be updated when new versions come out (e.g., Artificer or Barbarian full versions, or end-of-month Dragon compilations).
Note that Goodman does not use the GSL, so monsters and treasure will be of their own devising.
Hmm, I notice I've switched to indicative.
I guess that means I'll do it, given three more players! Feel free to kick around character preferences here for now.

Count me interested! I've been waiting for you to post this one since I saw you mention the possibility in one of your other threads.
I'm a 4e novice, though I played some demos at GenCon UK, so I'm at least passingly familiar with it.
As for dungeon, either is fine with me. I have a thing for dwarves (not in that way), so I'm leaning slightly towards Mountain King.
For character, I'll probably go tiefling or dragonborn or eladrin, to try out one of the new races. Not sure on class, I'll have to look at them and get back to you if you'll have me.
EDIT: Oh, and I'm in Europe, GMT+1 for time zone issues.

Id love to join a 4e game. I have ran it a few times but have no idea what its like on the other side of the screen! If you have room just give me a heads up so I can start coming up with my character.
And as for preference of adventures I know nothing about either but the Forges of the Mountain King sounds great!

Ok, I've skimmed Mountain King. It's got a very cool story, but it's still what it's advertised as -- a dungeoncrawl.
I'm going to go with Dragora's Dungeon, which is much more dynamic. Fair warning, though: you'll need to use more than the pointy end of the sword!
More info in a discussion thread going up soon (under pat512).

I'd be happy to join if there's any room left...
Never played 4E, but have the books and am willing to try it out, as it seems interesting.
Will play human rogue if possible.
Go here, this is the OOC of this game that's about to start up in the next day or so..

Ok, everyone who has posted until now is in. That's it for now. Please go to the thread Jason helpfully linked to and join the discussion.
EDIT: Dang, ninja'd by JZ. I'm sorry, but six is the cap. Head over to discussion anyway -- maybe somebody won't like my rules or will change their mind.
