The Art of Pathfinder - Book coming soon?

Liberty's Edge

...or The Art of Paizo, etc.

Any plans for a nice, thick, HC coffee table book of the great art you guys produce?

Games Workshop periodically publishes art books of their Warhammer settings, and I'd love to pick up a Paizo version in the future.

Silver Crusade

I would be all over this if it came out. But then I habitually pick up art books, even for products and companies I don't really follow(sup Rifts!).

Somehow I'm imagining Kyle Hunter mini-iconics on the cover interiors.

Agreed - I too would buy something like this. I love all of the art I have seen so far, and I have purchased plenty of art books, including gaming art, in the past. I would do so for art used in Paizo products as well.

Liberty's Edge

mmmm indeed
it wouldbe nice to have an art book :D

the art of golarion and Pathfinderis just beautiful!

Sovereign Court

I'd buy that in a heartbeat, I collect art books as well, including compilations of games and movies I don't have anything to do with.

I vote for a coffee table book with a separate, lockable section with the "fun" parts of Pathfinder art (ogres, certain death goddesses...)

Yeah, please, please. I'll import this one on the first possible day!!!

Art books are a bit of a hard sell, I'm afraid. It's funny—it's one of those things that everybody wants to publish, but they just never really work out all that well, financially speaking. I think Pathfinder will have to be a much bigger brand for that to happen.

Make it a pdf.

DP9 did that with its Heavy Gear setting, and it's their best selling book of all time. Next to nothing for overhead, too, since they already had all the art.

Yeah I agree a PDF would be better. For me to buy, plus it would keep cost down a bit for you guys. There is a lot of great art I already use as wallpapers or part of my screensaver that rotates images.

Ok, this is an old thread but I try to search before starting a thread.

Since pathfinder is more popular now, is there any chance of an art book? I love the quality of the art in pfrpg. Getting non gamers to look through the rules for the art is next to impossible. It might even draw non-gamers into trying pf.
